The latest edition of Fortune Cookies is here! What kept everyone busy in the summer months of April and May? Undoubtedly, the traditions and events of FIIB that we all religiously follow and attend. FEATURED STORY – CONVOCATION 2015 Commemorating yet another significant milestone of the college, Convocation for Batch 2013-15 was held on 9th May 2015. FIIB students have always kept the Institute's flag held high by delivering excellence through hard work and moving ahead with a 'never say die' attitude. We wish Good Luck to the 20th Graduating Batch! Chief Guest Mr. Harshavardhan Chitale, CEO Philips Lighting Solutions for South Asia Region graced the occasion with his presence. He said that the graduation certificate is akin to a license walk on the business super highway. He mentioned that the batch was lucky enough to be graduating at the time when technological disruptions in India and all over the world are changing the market games.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT The Academic - Cultural Engagement Rendezvous with Walton College of Business
It is a world full of possibilities at FIIB every summer that enriches the knowledge of students extensively and help them understand the vastness of the world. Stepping out of the comfort zone is a crucial aspect of a good business manager-leader. FIIB-Walton College Acculturation Program takes care of this. A study away from study yet so realistic in pedagogy, this exchange program is an experience that accounts for global learning procedures, diversity and cross cultural engagement. FIIB and Sam Walton Business School students went through a series of tasks and sessions together from 15th May 2015 to 17th May 2015 that turned out to be culturally enriching and academically rewarding. The Program was a gateway to experience life and undergo realistic learning for FIIB students from a different world perspective.

More from the FIIB –Walton Acculturation Program Day 2: Case Challenge Competition
During the Program the PGDM Grads undertook sessions and team projects to explore several aspects of the Indian market and consumer base. The Student Exchange Program included: Academic Sessions on Management Concepts conducted by Faculty from FIIB and WCoB Student Presentations on topics including Economic and Social Environment of India and USA Management Games and Team Competitions Sight Seeing and Celebrations

THROUGH THE CORRIDORS Bidding Adieu to 2013-15 Batch In an emotionally charged ceremony, FIIB bid adieu to the Batch of Academic Year 201315 with utmost gratitude and heartfelt wishes. Juniors along with Faculty and Staff made the evening memorable for the senior batch. As per the tradition of FIIB, the evening started with ‘Passing the Light’ Ceremony to congratulate the outgoing management students for their hard work, to acknowledge and appreciate work of each student led club and committee, to award the best club of the academic year and to welcome the incoming PGDM student council. The ceremony was solemnized by the senior Club Co-Heads handing over Student Council responsibilities to the newly elected Club Co-Heads; the responsibilities to conduct activities and events that aim in the advancement of learning procedures (gaining hands on experience of real world scenarios.)
