With the introduction of this AIM Newsletter, I wish to welcome you all to AIM – The American Institute of Management, the only professional membership-based association in USA that is dedicated to training and developing both the aspiring and already practicing supervisors, managers and executives. (Vighyan (Vic) Pratap 4th from right in blue shirt and tie with AIM members and guests) HAYWARD- Speaking to AIM members and guests Sunday March 26 dinner at Golden Peacock Banquet and Restaurant, Vic Pratap gave inside scoop on the recent mortgage melt and the after math that has threatened the lifestyle of millions of homeowners. Vic told the group it was the greed to make quick money that prompted many lenders to violate several laws. He invited audience to watch a 60 Minute Talk Show on You Tube that gives in depth look into how the mortgage melt took place. He said not only the companies sold and resold the loan docs that passed hands from one lender to another overnight but in

the process the committed several violations and failed to keep proper records. As 60 Minute and other leading American Channels showed, a document company was created just to sign and notarize the missing documents. Vic said he was working with a team of successful lawyers who are litigating the matters in court. Some decisions, including circuit court ruling, have already been made paving the way for a more successful litigation for others. Foreclosures from 2000 to 2008 Those who lost their homes in foreclosures during this period are sitting “on gold mine� as there is a fair chance of getting the property back and not have even the mortgage. Newest AIM Fellow S. W. Lam is our new AIM VP SINGAPORE-Mr. Steven Lam contacted AIM from Singapore expressing his interest in joining AIM as a professional member. Last week when Mr. Lam came to LA on a visit he flew in to SFO and met AIM director me for a day.

Being a most successful business leader in Singapore where turned around business from a dwindling record to over $9 million in year, Mr. Lam unfolded his plan to take AIM to a new level with all costs upfront by him. Mr. Lam gladly accepted to work as the South Pacific Regional/LA director to set up AIM in Singapore and other South Pacific locations with an LA-based office. Plan is underway to appoint Mr. Lam as a VP of AIM to enhance his position.

We extend our heartiest congratulations to Mr. Lam and hope to meet and hear him when he is here next in the Bay Area.
Bill Quirk speaks at AIM forum at Golden Peacock Restaurant Hayward City Councilman Bill Quirk was among our guest speakers at this month’s dinner meeting. Fiji Sun and AIM are supporting Bill for Cal State Assemblyman.
Real Estate Agent Ms. Christine Miller, fellow court attendant with the editor spoke on her career as a Real Estate agent and promised to work closely with AIM team to help in the real estate-related issues. Real Estate Investor Ken Lee gave a presentation on the Bidding Process on County auction properties. Ken told the group that about this time every year the Alameda County holds its annual auction. The information is found on the Alameda County website. Mr. Lee plans to specialize in this field.
