Suva, Fiji- Economic insecurity is the key driver of sex work in Fiji, a study has revealed. The report, titled, ‘Risky Business: Sex Work and HIV Prevention’ in Fiji, was compiled by Heather Worth and Karen McMillan from the University of New South Wales' School of Public Health and Community Medicine. The research was funded by Aus AID through a targeted HIV social research grant to the International HIV Research Group (IHRG) of the University of NSW, Australia. Fiji Government Audit Reveals Lack of Discipline Procedures
Suva, Fiji - A Fiji government audit has revealed that several ministries and departments failed to take disciplinary action against its workers. The 'Auditor General’s Volume 5 report on the Infrastructure Services Sector' has been released by the Public Accounts Committee, and it cites several abuses.
