Grand Milaad-Un-Nabi Celebrations 2011 Celebrating the Blessed Birth of Leader of Prophet’s Muhammad (S.A.W) It’s another time of the year to celebrate the Birth of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and where else to congregate other than in the San Francisco Bay Area's Grand Milaad–Un-Nabi Celebrations. Sunni muslim community of San Francisco Bay Area, in collaboration with Alameda Muslim League in Hayward, Al Madinah Academy in San Bruno, Bayview Islamic Unity Center Anjuman Fadayaane Rasul in San Francisco and Maunatul Islam Association of California in Sacramento, are organizing a grand event to celebrate Milaad-Un-Nabi, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on Sunday the 20th of February 2011 and this would be the most grand and happening event of the year. The event will include the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Huffaaz and Qurra, speeches on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the light of Quran and Hadith and Naats, poems in praise of Prophet Muhammad ((peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Many famous personalities would be honoring the event under the guardianship of Chief guest and Scholar Hazrat Allama Maulana Mohammed Shakir Ali Noorie, the Ameer/Leader of Sunni Dawat e Islami a worldwide organization, Qari Mohammed Ibrahim Razvi from Al Noor Society of Greater Houston, Texas and many other prominent Ulema’s from around the Country as well as local Ulemas Maulana Hafiz Yazdani, Alim Abdul Rahman Faizhi and Maulana Abdul Hannan Khan.
The month of immeasurable blessings and mercy has started. The month of Light, Rabi Al-Awwal (third month of Islamic calendar) is the month, which marks the birth of the most perfect and beloved of all Allah’s creations, the mercy to the worlds, the greatest of all Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). To express happiness, demonstrate joy and delight at the blessed birth of Rasulullah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Muslims of the San Francisco Bay Area, as always, will be holding a number of Eid Milaad-Un-Nabi events at various masjid in the Bay Area. The main event or the Grand Milaad-Un-Nabi Celebrations 2011 will be held at Sangha Hall, 39275 Alavarado Niles Road, Union City, California on Sunday 20th February from 2 pm to 6 pm to celebrate the birth, life and legacy of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The chief guest Hazrat Allama Maulana Mohammed Shakir, who is a world-renowned scholar and international speaker who presents a vision of love, peace and harmony; it is upon these foundations that he has taken the bold step of starting Sunni Dawat e Islami (SDI)- a worldwide organisation engaged in accommodating and educating, orphaned and deprived children and its uniqueness is that this organisation is not focusing on just a few key aspects because Islam is a complete way of life as well as being a complete religion and that is why Sunni Dawat e Islami is striving in all areas from education and propagation of Islam to Darul Ulooms, Madarasahs and English schools for both boys and girls. All brothers and sisters are warmly invited to this spiritually uplifting and blessed gathering. As always, separate arrangements will be provided for sisters.
