The Artist Luigi Carlo was born in Italy, and since a young age he is fascinated by art. He dedicated himself to study this discipline at school, and continued studying and exploring art, experimenting novel techniques and compositions. Wildlife Painting Wildlife painting has a very long tradition, in fact, prehistoric cave and rock art features wildlife. People used to represent the fauna they saw in their natural environment. Antelopes, birds, lions, horses and other animals are often featured in rock and cave art. One of the earliest known examples of wildlife art, was discovered in Lascaux (France), and includes the image of a wild horse. This artwork is probably the most famous of all cave painting. Other very old cave paintings are also found in France, at the Grotte Chauvet, and depict horses, rhinoceros, lions, buffalo, mammoth and humans, often hunting. In the Spanish cave of Cueva de las Monedas, there is an artwork depicting a reindeer, which is another example of wildlife cave painting. Wildlife painting is one of the commonest forms of cave art, which is found and various locations around the world. The ancient “classical� civilization, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome, India, or China; each of these civilizations developed their own unique style of art. The style of art continued to evolve during the Middle Age, and in the Renaissance and Baroque periods art reached very high level of pictorial qualities, such as painting technique, composition, dynamicity and vibrancy.
More recently, as society, and the art it produces, wildlife has become something to marvel at as new areas of the world were explored for the first time; more animal species were discovered that generated a great interest among people with different backgrounds. Wildlife is also admired aesthetically, and this is reflected in the wildlife art produces. Luigi Carlo artwork also includes wildlife and pets. Luigi in his wildlife artwork depicts animals in realism style, and includes tigers, lions, horses, dogs and birds.
