here is a very unique store in Naples, FL called BouTeak with the most beautiful custom Teak furniture pieces I have seen, along with beautiful art lining the walls. BouTeak is owned and operated by Jackie Morelisse and her daughter, Micha. They have a great showroom and an even better story, which we will share with you! Please stop in and pay them a visit! Originally from Narragansett, Rhode Island, Jackie Morelisse went to Northeastern University in Boston. After her studies she moved to Florida. She has been Naples based for thirty years and has developed herself as a local premier artist. Her love of her hometown in Naples has been instrumental in her great ability to give back to the community, whereby she has volunteered countless hours. She has been instrumental in the success of the Naples Players where she designed many costumes and sets. She has also been active in fund raising and is an artistic teacher at the Norris Center, Bonita Arts League, Empty Bowls, Celebrity Martini Glass, Artis, The Gulfshore Playhouse, Naples Art Association, and The Children’s Museum of Naples.

Her extensive record of traveling to exotic tropical destinations shows in many of her paintings. Happiness and love are central in her paintings. Over the years she has developed herself into an all-round visual artist with many talents. Many of her themes include recycled material

BouTeak creates visual beauty and functional designs while incorporating stunning color combinations with organic shapes that expose energy and movement. The creation is a fully hands on process from concept to completion for custom designs and commissioned art pieces. Skilled woodworkers build the designs submitted by BouTeak and ship those per container to the showroom. BouTeak is owned by Jackie and Micha, her daughter. Together they form a dynamic team that assist clients with custom designed, one of a kind, unique furniture, paintings, and home accessories. The combination of a mother and daughter team allows for a unique diversity of skills whereby Micha is the showroom manager and Jackie the artist.

In Costa Rica, she is Creative Director for Cinco Ceibas Rainforest Reserve & Adventure Park (www.cincoceibas.com) that is situated on Finca Pangola in the northern zone. Cinco Ceibas is a tourist destination project that also houses the reforestation. That project was started twenty years ago by her husband, who converted an abandoned pineapple farm into a reforestation project when he planted over 700,000 trees. Those trees became the foundation of what is now BouTeak by JM, Inc. which is a Naples based company with a showroom on Tamiami Trail. The mantra for BouTeak is, “From Seed to BouTeak.” Its philosophy is based on ecofriendly and sustainable furniture production whereby people and the environment are central to its success.

There are many great reasons to purchase life insurance. Common uses range from paying final expenses to replacing spousal income to distributing your wealth and business interests evenly amongst heirs. One of the most famous adages is the following: Buy term life and invest the rest. Is it true?

A quick online search generates hundreds of articles recapping the traditional financial benefits in addition to more specialized advice, plus countless companies promoting their products. While it ultimately depends on your personal economics, we will attempt to cut through the clutter and answer this age-old question.

The main counter argument here is that funds within a permanent life insurance policy grow income tax-free. There is a DAC tax, but it is internal and very small. INGREDIENTS: 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 2 eggs 4 cups panko bread crumbs ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 cup extra virgin olive oil for frying ½ cup fresh mozzarella, cut into small cubes ¼ cup fresh basil ½ cup grated provolone cheese ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil DIRECTIONS: Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Place chicken breasts between two sheets of heavy plastic (resealable freezer bags work well) on a solid, level surface. Firmly pound chicken with the smooth side of a meat mallet to a thickness of 1/2-inch. Season chicken thoroughly with

salt and pepper. Beat eggs in a shallow bowl and set aside. Mix bread crumbs and 1/2 cup Parmesan in a separate bowl, set aside. Place flour in a sifter or strainer; sprinkle over chicken breasts, evenly coating both sides. Dip flour coated chicken breast in beaten eggs. Transfer breast to breadcrumb mixture, pressing the crumbs into both sides. Repeat for each breast. Set aside breaded chicken

breasts for about 15 minutes. Heat 1 cup olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat until it begins to shimmer. Cook chicken until golden, about 2 minutes on each side. The chicken will finish cooking in the oven.

Place chicken in a baking dish and top each breast with about 1/3 cup of tomato sauce. Layer each chicken breast with equal amounts of mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and provolone cheese. Sprinkle 1 to 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese on top and drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is browned and bubbly, and chicken breasts are no longer pink in the center, 15
