After the success of Connect Festival 2024 we are back again this year. Last year more than 350 artists from various communities performed on stage and approx. 3000 people attended the festival.
Connect Festival is a vibrant celebration of diverse cultures, showcasing various traditions, art forms, music, food, and performances from around the world. It provides an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to come together, learn from each other, and promote understanding and respect. This festival not only entertain but also foster unity in diversity, highlighting the richness of global heritage.

This festival aims to raise the awareness of the unique Baldoyle Bay, it’s protected status and the magnificent biodiversity it contains. The theme for this year’s festival is Climate Change and there will be stalls and talks on a variety of subjects. Children can enjoy the games, animals and displays. The Lambay Race is a sailing regatta running since 1904, open to all types of sailing boats, amongst them the unique worlds oldest one design keelboat Howth 17s. The race sees boats sail to Lambay Island and boats will be visible along Fingal coastline and beaches from 11:00 -15:00

Fingal’s annual outdoor painting festival invites artists from Ireland and around the world to paint the beautiful landscape of Fingal over seven days in June.
Each day you can also attend workshops held by professional artists painting enplein air to improve your artistic skills and techniques.

Lusk Summer Festival is a fantastic, one day event run by Lusk Action Group and the Lusk Summer Festival Committee, with the support of Fingal County Council and Progressive Credit Union.

Donabate Portrane Summer Festival promises an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, joy and endless summer vibes.
Donabate Portrane Summer Festival is a Family Fun Event which is held on Portrane Green every year, usually on the weekend after Bank Holiday weekend in August. It caters for all ages U& has exibhitors from the likes of mobile (small) animal petting farm / kite making / kids races to Music & Dance entertainment / Bingo / Craft Fair and everything is wrapped up with the annual Fireworks Display over the sea at Portrane on the Sunday night.
Donabate-Portrane Summer Festival
The Howth Roots and Blues Festival is a music festival in Howth showcasing great Irish and International roots and blues artists.
While many of the artists are blues based the festival caters for fans of Country, Rhythm and Blues, Bluegrass, Americanna and we’ve even had Latin and reggae. Basically anything rootsy!
For one weekend in August, Howth will be filled with Roots and Blues Music. Wander around 7 venues (5 of which are FREE) from gig to gig like you’re at Electric Picnic but without any entry fee thanks to our sponsors Guinness and Fingal County Council.
There will be OVER 30 FREE GIGS in total. Headline acts will play at The Abbey Tavern, tickets for these from tickets.ie
