Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance Photo Release Policy

Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance Photography Release Policy I, (“Licensor”), hereby grant, voluntarily and with full usage of select photographs to the Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance (FLTA), a license to the following: 1. Use and storage of my name and image, by means of digital or film photography, video photography, audio recording or other documentation, with respect to the activity, namely the Finger Lakes Regional Travel Guide, Finger Lakes Map and Mini Guide, social media platforms or website www.FingerLakes.org, of FLTA. 2. In the event the FLTA marketing committee selects photographer’s image for use as a cover image for the annual travel guide, monetary compensation will be provided to the photographer in the amount of $250 in a onetime installment. Photo usage for this amount will also entitle FLTA usage of the same image for the corresponding Finger Lakes Map and Mini Guide and use on its website or social media platforms.

3. Use of any stored data including photographers name and image in printed publications of FLTA. 4. Use of any stored data including photographers name and image in electronic publications of FLTA. Electronic publications will be available on ISSUU.com which will secure the photographers images from online compromise or endangered security issues.

5. If a photographer’s images are selected for use within the interior of the Finger Lakes Regional Travel Guide or on FingerLakes.org no monetary compensation will be provided but photo credit and/or byline will be implemented.

6. If a dispute over this agreement or any claim for damages arises, I agree to resolve the matter through a mutually acceptable alternative dispute resolution process.

7. If I cannot agree with FLTA upon such a process, the dispute will be submitted to a three-member arbitration panel of the American Arbitration Association for final resolution.
