Located on the Mary River, Condondale is surrounded by unspoilt natural beauty of the Mary Valley.

The rugged beauty of the Conondale Range and Conondale National Park provides an important refuge for rare and threatened animals like the Mary River Turtle.

The National Park is suited to experienced walkers and contains rainforests, eucalypt forests, waterfalls, creeks and spectacular scenery. There is a day-use area and camping areas at Booloumba Creek.

The 9.6m high Mount Allan fire tower offers a 360 degree view of the mountain ranges and includes interpretive signs giving an insight into past forestry management.
