K POINT gradients Gradients are an important point of the character of K POINT. They are used in most of the applications, either in the logotype and backgrounds. The most important gradient is the “K POINT gradient”, that is used to construct the main logotype of K POINT and is the color of the mark for excellence. The “Coffee gradient” is used only for the coffee applications.

LOVE OF THUNDER
WHITNEY
A love of Thunder is our corporate typeface. We use only one weight for all our communications. No bold, no light, no condensed, no extended.
Whitney is our second typeface. We can use it in whatever weight, such us bold, regular or light.
This minimal approach might seem limiting, but it actually offers a valuable advantage. It helps us to be precise in our messaging, to prioritise information and leave out what is unnecessary. It simplifies all our communications.
Is used to complement the main typography Love of Thunder, normally in large texts.
Size You can change size, colour or spatial positioning in order to create emphasis within our typographic design. Style Never use typographic effects such as emboldening, condensing, expanding, slanting, outlining or shadowing.

The measure of this placemat is related with the measure of the tray, covering always the 100% of the flat area. The paper should be printed mainly in CMYK. As an alternative we can do it with digital print.
CREATIVITY There are several proposals for the tray liner designs which could be used simultanously. All of them will be based in the weave of points that is explained in the first chapter.

3.3 menuboard The K POINT menuboard can be displayed on digital screens or printed on a back lit printed screen. It is devoped according to asset type. The menuboard is divided in subbrand pannels to display all offer in an organized way. It has a dark brown frame to increase contrast and visibility.

POPâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s background is made from the same weaves of points that characterizes K POINT. The color is related with the type of product (see the codification in the next page).
The product should be always in the middle and down of the composition. It will always surrounded by ingredients wich helps to undestand the essence of the product.
We can use more than one prodcut in each compostion. Always must be the same type of product.

The information (logotype, name of product and slogan) wil be placed in the upper side of the composition. We will use the K POINT subbrands to reinforce the category of the product.
Sometimes we can strenght the concep with a red band with the name of K POINT products, situated in the bottom of the composition.
The composition will be always signed with K POINT by KFC in the right bottom corner. In white if we have a dark background, and in red if we have a lighter backbround.

Each window that faces the street must have a neon sign with the K POINT mark. This neon is produced with lacquered MDF, finished in red high gloss. We use the same logotype in the two faces in order to be seen from either the street and the instore. The neon should be 1000mm high.
