organisation; it is a not-for-profit organisation to empower youth to achieve excellence in life by Making A Difference And Looking Ahead. In 2010 and 2011 Nyaarla/ MADALAH received recognition for their outstanding community work through being recipients of the Australian Business Awards. “We are now being acknowledged by APELA – Asia Pacific Enterprise Leadership Awards, the most prestigious awards in the Asia Pacific region, and I proudly attribute this to our dedicated team and all the young people who have participated and made positive
changes to their life. I am just back from Singapore after receiving our award, and it was an inspiration. I was able to share our success model and learn from other likeminded organisations across the whole region. I have brought back new practices to incorporate into our business. Nyaarla / MADALAH has some exciting new developments on the horizon.” says Alan. Alan also spoke as part of the AP-EC Corporate Sustainability Summit which was held in Singapore from 12-13th March.
