first job was in a fruit and veg store. I got a Cert 2 in Business medical reception, then I did my Cert III in Business Administration. I worked at Queensland South Native Title Service, then another organisation, and then a I did a retail course at Gidarjil and I’ve been working there for about 2 years now. I’m now the Administrator for the Caring for Country program. What do you like

about your job? I get to find out who my mob is. I’m almost 30 and I’m finding out who I’m related to. It’s exciting to find out my very large family, all our cousins. What is your favourite type of movie? My favourite movie would have to be anything with Nicholas Cage and Bruce Willis in them. What was the last book you read?

I like to read biographies. I’m currently reading Gina Rinehart. I just wanted to see what was going on with her. What do you hope for the future of our people? I hope that we don’t lose our identity. We have to keep teaching the children the language. I find if you keep teaching them, they will keep learning and pass it on to their kids.
