YEARLING BULLS Hoegl Livestock
32 NGDB Junior 21K
A real long bodied, loose hided fleck bull here that will sire you the payweight type cattle. Big boned, soggy made with a thick, dark haircoat. His sire is a special individual who sold through our 2020 sale and recently sired a $55,000 daughter through Friday Night Lights! His dam has been a great old producer that we still have that came from our acquisition of half the Kopp fullblood herd. Maternal brothers are at Y Coulee, Mannville Farming and 7C Ranch.

33 NGDB Junior 35K
These “7G” sired sons were sure popular last year and moving forward we plan to make a lot more. 35K is an example of what he can do with added length and depth, putting a nice square hip on them while keeping them sound made and good looking. His powerful dam has put a replacement quality female in the pen every year and we are pleased to offer her first bull through the sale.
34 NGDB Junior 58K
KUZ MR APPOLLO 11W NGDB 205Z NGDB LEXUS 613S
A traditional marked purebred bull here we really appreciate for his colour, hair, rib shape and big hip. These 7G sons are the type to invest in with confidence as they are all so consistent in type and kind. If you like moderate framed, powerfully made cattle, 58K is your bull.

35 NGDB Shamrock 27K
A really dark made, great pigmented bull sired by Shamrock 10G. 27K is very square hipped and level on every corner, you really have to appreciate the way this bull carries himself, with the added rib shape and depth of body he carries. His productive dam seems to put a bull in the sale offering every year with sons at Sissons, Schwenk Farm & Feedlot and Plenty View Simmentals.
36 NGDB Shamrock 34K
A very exciting individual within our 2023 sale offering is this Homo Polled, Fleckvieh herd bull that does so much right. Deep dark red, hairy, great pigment, stout hipped, big topped and soggy made. We feel 34K has a tonne to offer any program he enters. The Canon daughters are very good young cows that have great big futures ahead of them, and when they can crank out high quality bulls like 34K early in their lives, it’s evident that they have a tonne to offer.
37 NGDB Shamrock 56K
These Shamrock bulls are impressive cattle with extra length and overall scale in polled packages. When you can find polled fullblood genetics that can perform and look like soggy beef bulls you have to jump on the opportunity. 56K carries the dark red, hairy complexion we are noting the sire group to have, with big wide backs and thick butt ends. We think these Shamrock sons will be very well received.

LOTS 40 - 41: A PAIR OF FULL BROTHERS WE ARE EXTREMELY PROUD TO HAVE RAISED IN OUR EMBRYO TRANSFER PROGRAM. THEIR DAM, 17C WAS A FEATURE FEMALE OUT OF THE MAIDENS OF THE MEADOW FEMALE SALE SCOTT BOHRSON HAD FOUND FOR US AND WE ALWAYS ADMIRED HER FOR HER UDDER QUALITY, STRONG FOOT, BIG RIB SHAPE AND EASY DOING APPEARANCE. WE THOUGHT ENOUGH OF HER TO FLUSH HER TO OUR PREVIOUS RESIDENT HERD BULL, LIEUTENANT 24E. BOTH 4K AND 5K HAVE INHERITED THEIR SIRES’ IMPRESSIVE DEPTH, STOUTNESS AND PROUD, UP-HEADED APPEARANCE. THESE BULLS ARE BOTH BIG TIME HERD BULL CANDIDATES WITH THEIR STRONG FOOT STRUCTURE, LARGE TESTICLES AND GREAT BODY PATTERN INCLUDING ADDED LENGTH, WIDTH AND OVERALL POWER. A FULL BROTHER TO THESE BULLS WORKS AT THE GREAT COMMERCIAL OUTFIT OF BAR HI RANCHING. WE SUCCESSFULLY CAMPAIGNED 5K THIS FALL WHERE HE WAS VERY WELL RECEIVED, WINNING MULTIPLE CLASSES IN VERY TOUGH DIVISIONS. WE THINK HIGHLY OF BOTH BULLS AND ARE RESERVING THE RIGHT TO 100 DOSES OF IN HERD USE SEMEN ON THEM BOTH.

43 NGDB Full Velocity 29K Full Siblings
44 NGDB Full Velocity 9K
lots 42 - 44: A trio of brothers that are the result of one of the very best flushes ever completed on the farm. Their donor dam was a striking female that excelled in body mass and udder quality, we unfortunately lost her, but are proud to have her influence live on in the great full sisters to these bulls in the replacement pen. Their sire was our $63,000 selection from Meadow Acres, Full Velocity 117F. Full Velocity has passed on the great traits that made us fall in love with him in these three powerhouses. 9K, 29K and 97K excel in natural body shape and dimension, are loose-hided, rugged made meat machines that have added frame and overall mass. All three of these scale crushers will leave you a set of the heavy weight steers in the fall and certainly won’t sacrifice the maternal side either as we have 7 full sisters that are the best in the replacement pen and another full sister was our feature red heifer calf that just sold through Friday Night Lights this past December to Sunny Valley Simmentals. We think very highly of these full brothers and think they have great herd bull potential.

A CALVING EASE HERDBULL CANDIDATE HERE IN THIS DARK RED, BALDY FACE STUD! HIS GRANDDAM WAS A FEATURE HEIFER CALF THAT SOLD OUT OF THE COBRA EVENT IN 2018 THAT WENT ON TO HAVE 63K’S DAM ON HER FIRST GO. THE 119H FEMALE IS AN AWESOME UDDERED AND A VERY TIDY YOUNG COW. 63K IS DEEP FLANKED, SOFT MADE WITH A GREAT HAIR COAT. NGDB Brisk 46K
A heifer’s first calf here in this calving ease individual that weaned off his first time mama early September at 880 pounds. This dark red, heavy haired bull with sire modest birth weight cattle that just get up and grow and never look back. We have really appreciated the Brisk progeny for doing just that the last couple years and feel they are unmatched when it comes to calving ease with growth and performance added on after.
NGDB Motion 61K
A real soggy, muscular individual here in 61K that is sure to sire scale crushing progeny. He weaned off his dam at over 900 pounds in early September and has not looked back. His muscle pattern and body shape will be a complimenting addition to your calf crop.
YEARLING BULLS Hoegl Livestock
A RED BULL WITH A BIG WHITE FACE HERE IN THIS LONG SPINED, STOUT MUSCLED INDIVIDUAL. WE REALLY APPRECIATE THE BIG BONE, ROBUST BODY SHAPE AND POWER THIS BULL PACKS. IF YOU SELL YOUR CALVES BY THE POUND, THESE LONG BODIED, HEAVY MUSCLED BULLS ARE THE ONES TO TIE INTO WITH THE ADDED BONUS OF POTENTIALLY THROWING A WHITE FACE ON YOUR CALVES! MATERNAL BROTHER WORKS FOR DARBY ZERR.
A cherry red, hairy individual here with a tremendous structure. We really wanted to incorporate the Tycoon bull into our breeding program and after we found the Lewis bull and viewed his then 10 year old dam still in production with a great foot and udder, we knew that LFE Lewis 317H was the one and its sons like this with that length, depth, colour and hair on a great set of feet and legs that have proved him very capable of siring a big consistent set of sons!
A payweight bull here! Length equals pounds and 13K is as long as a rope but with the added power and depth to go along with it. At 1000 pounds at weaning time, you can rest assured this performance sire will leave you with a set of offspring to put some cash back into your pocket. These. “Lewis” sons are really consistent in type, we love the foot under them and the pounds and power they pack.
