Transcon Livestock Corp. welcome from
Prairie Partners 2023... First off I would like to welcome Handford Simmentals from Snowflake Manitoba on being the new partner in the Prairie Partners sale. The Handfords have been in the business of of raising and marketing high quality and very functional cattle for quite some time.
What a great opportunity for these two southern Manitoba breeding establishments to join forces and put forth Prairie Partners 2023. The Marchants and Handfords are huge supporters and advocates to the agriculture industry. Both families are highly motivated and extremely hard working and love what they do. Reputation breeders that produce the right kind of cattle that go out and work in the industry. Countless hours are spent studying genetics and then applying that knowledge to the cowherd. Both programs are always striving to produce an end product that will be advantageous to both the commercial and purebred catttleman.

This sale offers a large and diverse cross section of yearling bulls Reds/Blacks and Fullbloods, as well as a very strong set of extra age bulls. The consistency of sire groups really shows up throughout the offering. Whether it’s calving ease or true beef bulls your looking to purchase. I believe you will find a bull in this sale that will work for you.
Bulls that are structurally sound in their type and makeup. They are big ribbed and soft sided with length of spine and natural thickness. Bulls that have width up over their tops as well as carrying that lower quarter. They are hairy and have super quiet dispositions.
On behalf of the families at Silver Lake Farms and Handford Simmentals, we invite you to join us in Southern Manitoba Tuesday March 14th at the Killarney Auction Mart and bid on and purchase a damn good set of bulls.
Please feel free to give anyone of us a call at Transcon to assist you with any information, appraisals or bidding/buying assistance that may be required if you are unable to attend the sale in person.
