Changes are inevitable and with the realignment of the Neepawa sale the chance to join the Silver Lake crew and cut our travel time in half was an easy decision to make.
Especially since Andrea already does half our work!!
I would like to thank all the previous bidders and buyers from all our years in Neepawa and hope you will follow us to Killarney. This year we have sire verified all our bulls to ensure you are getting the bull you are looking for. We would also like to reserve the right to draw in herd use semen on any of our sale bulls.
Thanks, Robert

We really like our Witness calves. They are long bodied and heavy muscled as this guy shows. This blaze face bull will add pounds to your calves come fall. His dam also has a blaze face and near perfect feet and udder.

It’s hard to not repeat yourself when describing these Witness sons. Very even group of bulls. The dam, 7E goes back to a favourite around here SRH 17C. Good bulls come from good moms.

Solid black Witness son here with a set of EPDs to drool over. He’s also no slouch to view in person either. Heavy muscled, long bodied and deep quartered. The extra length in these Witness calves adds a lot of pay weight come fall when selling your calves. His dam SRH 112E is a daughter of SRH 9Z. She’s the dam of our high selling open heifer in the PTSA last fall to our friends the Johns.
Homo Polled
Homo Black Black blaze bull off SRH 52F, who already had a heifer selling in the PTSA to our friends at Triple R. Typical Witness son with his long body and heavy muscle.
Homo Polled
Homo Black
One of the deepest, thickest bulls we have raised. We didn’t get many Rancher calves last year but the ones we got have been standouts. SRH 21E is scow sired by Cobra and going back to our Lewis donor Joy. It’s hard to get around the overall mass of this guy. True herdsire potential.

28K is the result of some embryos we bought from Mader Ranches. I have always admired the Opal 652S cow family and now I really know why. This Dynasty son is a heavy muscled, soggy bull with lots of hair and top. A bull we considered keeping for ourselves. Buy with confidence.
Srh Kosmo 28k

Our second bull from the Opal 652S cow but this time its a Betts. Another bull with herdsire potential with all the hair, top, length and muscle you could ask for. The Betts offspring keep rising to the top. Another bull we considered keeping for ourselves.

Homo Polled As with the Witness calves the Gibsons are a very even group. Soggy, heavy muscled, thick haired bulls. Dam goes back to 56U and our donor 508T.
Lot 48
Homo Polled Solid red Gibson with his usual hair and muscle. Soggy, loose hided future herd bull here. Perfect uddered second calf mom again going back to SRH 17C.

Our last red Gibson but not the least. His dam SRH 45A is a big bodied blood red cow that has done nothing but produce her whole life. A couple injuries to previous bulls stopped her from having a sale bull or keeper heifer every year. Low birthweight on this deep sided hairy bull. Very good bull out of a very good mom.

The bull feeding program is built to maximize forage utilization and gut health; they are developed on grass with their moms on a strict mineral program. All the forages are sampled and analyzed to ensure quality forages are used. Once the calves are weaned, they are slowly moved onto a balanced TMR.
The bulls are challenged with a forage-based TMR to help them develop and express their genetic potential. Matching suitable protein sources with proper starch is key to promoting lean muscle growth. Organic minerals are used to ensure proper immune function and overall health. If you have any questions about the nutrition program, please feel free to reach out. Buy with confidence knowing the bulls have been developed on a balanced nutrition program. Best of luck on sale day!
