ED ATTACHES SHABIR SHAH’S SRINAGAR HOUSE IN TERROR FUNDING New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate on Friday said it has attached Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah’s Srinagar house as part of a money laundering probe linked to a case of fuelling terrorist activities in the union territory. The house, worth Rs 21.80 lakh, is located in Botshah colony, Sanat Nagar, in Srinagar’s Barzulla police station area, officials said. “Shabir Ahmad Shah was actively involved in the activities of fuelling unrest in Kashmir valley by way of stone pelting, processions, protests, bandhs, hartals and other subversive activities.”

MP: 11 killed, 1 injured as SUV collides with bus in Betul Betul: As many as 11 persons were killed and one person sustained injuries after an SUV they were travelling in collided with a bus near Jhallar police station in Betul in the wee hours on Friday. Betul Superintendent of Police (SP) Simala Prasad said that the accident occurred around 2 am. An empty bus was moving on the road and the SUV, which was coming from the Amravati district collided head-on with the bus. The injured person is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Further investigation into the matter is on.
