MISSION KASHMIR ACCOMPLISHED

Narendra Modi, Amit Shah Emerge As Nation’s Heroes  Article 370 scrapped  Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh to be Union Territories

Aditi Nagar Srinagar/New Delhi: By removing Article 370 and 35A and J&K special status provision just within few hours after Narendra Modi chaired union cabinet meeting, Modi and Amit Shah emerged as real heroes of the nation. Infact, Modi’s freehand made Shah emerge as the new Sardar Patel of India’s 21-century history. Incidentally, like Shah, late Vallabhbhai Patel also belonged to Gujarat. After 1971’s historical Bangladesh victory attributed to the late PM Indra Gandhi, August 5, 2019 makes a new mark of a historic Narendra Modi-Amit Shah era in India’s political history. This historic decision brought the nation in a festive mood 10 days prior to the Independence Day. One of the major impacts of ModiShah’s Kashmir mission would be that BJP might have a clean sweep in the upcoming assembly polls in OctoberNovember 2019 in four crucial states Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand, J&K (subject to election commission preparations). At this crucial juncture, a seventy-year-old RSS Kashmir dream also becomes a ground reality now and there is a deep sense of gratitude towards Modi and Shah among the RSS cadre. Moreover, Modi and Shah’s mastermind Kashmir move has completely demoralised and paralysed the Opposition including a ‘leaderless’ Congress, which, inspite of Rahul’s resignation has yet not been able to choose the new party president.

I want to assure when situation gets normal & the right time comes, we’re ready to make J&K a state again. It may take a little longer, but it will become a state once again, one day Amit Shah, Home Minister

In a proposed law, which has cleared the Rajya Sabha, Jammu and Kashmir will cease to be a state and become two union territories with two Lieutenant Governors

The cabinet met this morning at the residence of Prime Minister Modi after which all ministers and the PM moved to parliament for Amit Shah’s big announcement

Special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution has been removed by a presidential order that would come into force “at once”

The government received support from parties like ally Shiv Sena and even from rival leaders like Chandrababu Naidu, Arvind Kejriwal and Mayawati

Government’s huge step comes after a build-up of troops in the Kashmir Valley and a night where various senior leaders were placed under house arrest

Shah said that Article 370, which granted special status to J&K, had to go as it was the root of terrorism in the state and was the biggest hurdle to normalcy

Internet and phone lines have been forced out of service in parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Thousands of paramilitary troops have taken guard in the Valley

Article 370 in past gave J&K its own constitution and decision-making rights for all matters barring defence, communications and foreign affairs

Arun Jaitley said in tweets: “A historical wrong has been undone. Article 35A came through the back door without following the procedure under Article 368 of the Constitution of India

Omar Abdullah said that governemnt’s shocking decisions are a total betrayal of the trust that the people of Jammu & Kashmir had reposed in India when the State acceded to it in 1947

his entire Amit Shah “operation” also indicates that off late Narendra Modi, who has always preferred a centralised mode of governance during his Gujarat chief ministerial and prime ministerial tenure, has made an exception for Amit Shah by virtually delegating his entire authority and decision making on Kashmir to his new Sardar Patel. Otherwise also the golden principle of management is “to have a complete delegation with complete trust”. Infact, in India’s political history, no prime minister has ever delegated such an authority and powers to anyone else in the cabinet like Amit Shah, who is practically working as the deputy Prime Minister since his arrival at North block as the union home minister. Moreover, the entire nation agrees to one point that in the entire swift Kashmir operation, Shah has not only emerged as the mastermind strategist but also as an exceptional executor. Hats off to Amit Shah, the way and the speed which has dominated the entire Kashmir operation. The news of scrapping of Article 370 became public at around 11 AM on Monday but till late evening there was no untoward incident or crowd gathering in any part of the valley including Srinagar and there was a complete silence on all the roads which led to Srinagar. It only indicates that Modi and Shah’s Kashmir operation has won the game at least in the first stage. However, some curiosity is left out till the time the curfew will be lifted, school, colleges and markets will be opened. This initial development has further encouraged and enhanced the morale, confidence and conviction of Modi and Shah.
