373 mines were inspected in fortnight: ACS

Jaipur: As many as 373 mines were inspected in a fortnight under the ongoing one-month special mine safety campaign in the state so far. Where there were shortcomings and deficiencies, the mine holders have been bound to ensure 100 percent compliance with mine safety standards.

ACS Mines Dr. Sub- the mines department in coordination with the health department organized 125 health check-up camps in which along with health check-ups, medicines, masks, and other safety equipment were provided to residents and laborers. Health check-up of more than 40,000 mining workers has been done in the state from April 2022 to January 2023, while arrangements have been made for regular treatment of 3616 potential victims of silicosis.

First India Bureau Jaipur: The Vidhyadhar Nagar Police on Wednesday filed a charge sheet against 32-year-old techie Anju Sharma for allegedly killing his aunt Saroj Sharma and then chopping her body parts into 10 pieces. Vidhyadhar Nagar SHO Virendra Kuril filed the charge sheet in the court and informed that a 400-page charge sheet was filed against Anuj Sharma with concrete evidence against him. “A more heinous crime cannot happen like this and in such a situation, the accused should get rigorous punishment,” said SHO Virendra Kuril. Notably, Anuj Sharma allegedly killed his 60-yearold aunt on December 11, 2022, and then chopped her body parts into ten pieces.

Woman, son found dead in house Barmer: Siwana police in Barmer on Wednesday recovered two bodies from a locked house. Bodies were of a woman and her son. Police said that duo died around five-six days back. Deceased were identified as Rup Kanwar (75) and her son Jagdev Singh (45), resident of Mawdi village under Siwana police station area in Barmer.

Pratapgarh: BJP state president Dr. Satish Poonia reached Kesunda in Pratapgarh district and met the family members of Vikas (Bunty) Anjana and consoled them and asked the state govt to accept all the demands of the family members and arrest all those involved in the murder and punish them severely.

As per Dr Kirodi Lal Meena, prior to this, about two years ago another girl from the family was also stopped from getting married by the bullies. However, after his intervention, she got married.der, Poonia said that CM Ashok Gehlot is making a mistake that Bunty’s murder is just the murder of a single person. “It is the murder of an individual, it is the murder of the system,” he said “I have come to call upon all of you that someday both the Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh units together will organize an effective demonstration with full strength so that the police and the administration realize this,” Poonia said.
