YOUTH GETS 10-YEAR IMPRISONMENT FOR RAPING MINOR

Pali: 10 years of rigorous imprisonment was handed over to a man for raping a minor. Special Judge Surendra Kumar of POCSO Court No. 3 gave the verdict. Convict Umaram Garasia had coaxed the minor victim and taken her to the forest and raped her there. A fine of Rs 30,000 was imposed on him. The convict Umaram Garasia is a resident of the Banaskatha district of Gujarat. The information was shared by Special Public Prosecutor Khimaram Patel.
