here was a feel good factor and a festive fervour all around. With the abrogation of Article 370 and a PEACEFUL Eid in the country and in Kashmir especially, it was enough reason for the Central government to heave a sigh of relief. On Monday night, when people feasted on the occasion of Eid, entire India watched ONE THING... in common... that’s right, PM Narendra Modi’s Man vs Wild programme with Bear Grylls on Discovery Channel. Shot some time back, the show was aired on the action channel at 9 pm on Monday. PM Modi who is known for his physical fitness and being a regular on the Yoga mat, stunned millions of Indians as he embarked on a rare adventure in Uttarakhand’s Jim Corbett National Park with Bear Grylls in a special episode of Man Vs Wild. The show revealed some interesting anecdotes on how PM Modi used to create bathing salts from dew as a child, or his “rendezvous” with wildlife during childhood. During the show, when Bear pointed out the dangers lurking in their vicinity, PM Modi fearlessly said, “We should not take this place as a danger zone. When we go against nature then everything becomes dangerous; human beings too become dangerous. Turn to P4

Soon after a Rajya Sabha vacancy was created by an untimely death of BJP’s state president Madan Lal Saini, Sonia and Gehlot started the process of exploring the chances of a Manmohan Singh comeback to Rajya Sabha via Rajasthan. Manmohan Singh had represented Assam in the Rajya Sabha for 28 years and the tenure got over in early 2019 and immediately there was no visible vacancy in any Congress state to ac-
commodate Sonia’s man Friday – Manmohan. At the same time, an 86-year-old two-time Prime Minister, Manmohan was also not very keen to join the Rajya Sabha again. At this juncture, Saini’s death created a vacancy, and virtually created a new hope and opportunity for both Manmohan and High Command to send him to Rajasthan. At this moment, Sonia and Gehlot personally persuaded Singh to accept the offer. Turn to P10
