New Delhi/Bengaluru: Congress has won the 2023 Karnataka assembly elections by the biggest vote share and seats after a whopping 34 years. Even as the counting was on, political activist Yogendra Yadav said that this election is the biggest victory for “any party in Karnataka" after 1989 during Veerendra Patil's regime when the Congress had won 178 seats with a vote share of 43.76%.
At least 50 rooms were booked at a hotel on Saturday for Congress MLAs in Karnataka. As per reports, Congress has called upon all MLAs at hotel and held in informal meeting on late Saturday. The Congress party has also called for an official CLP meet today.
With Congress registering a thumping victory in Karnataka, the ‘fight’ for the post of CM has intensified between Siddharamiah and DK Sivakumar.
Sometimes Siddaramaiah gets ahead, and other times, DK Shivakumar goes ahead of his competition. Now according to the latest indications DK Shivakumar is leading the race. He struggled for three and a half years and played a key role in making Cong win. As far as Siddaramaiah’s question is concerned, Siddaramaiah has been CM once. As per observers, now opportunity has come to give command to the young generation. And Sonia will take final decision with opinion of Rahul-Priyanka. Full Report on P5

SINKING PAKISTAN DESCENDS INTO MORE CHAOS

ATthe moment one cannot but come to the conclusion that chaos prevails in most parts of Pakistan, that does not give India any comfort or satisfaction. But why a fairly large neighbour is ambuished in civil war, worry we should.
India, but for a short period in the 1970 remained free of the anarchy that grips Pakistan. This anarchy, I am afraid is not going away. Good governance is not round the corny. Cronyism is most instruments that run a state need immediate repairs and reform.

At the same time he never lowers his guard. Let me end with it. We wish you luck, but never aim your guns at us.
Unfortunately he was not an adroit administrator, neither a successful Prime Minister. I often ask myself- What makes this man click. The answer is in one word. Guts. He is fearless, such men inspire people. Has Imran Khan at the moment last his way.
The answer is yes and no. A situation not unknown in politics.
For decades they by and large competent armed forces have (with the vital exception Bangladesh) kept Pakistan hold together. So far it has not intervened, as in the past, following the policy of wait and watch. The bug that entered its soul is Kashmir. No Kashmir no Pakistan foreign policy. Pakistan

India asserts Independence with new tech
India is one of many nations looking for ways to assert their independence from past and present Western colonialism. This desire can result in projects that have an air of petulance that is successful locally, but not particularly productive.
Sometimes, an independence effort is made in a more positive spirit. One shining example is India’s plan to build a digital environment that is independent of “Silibandia”, or Silicon Valley and West-dominated media and broadband industries.
This new endeavor, called BharOS, is a fork of Android built with the sponsorship of India’s government, now a nation of 1.4 billion people. This also includes its topnotch developer community, led by alumni of the distinguished IIT.

Siddaramaiah hails Congress’ Karnataka victory, warns BJP
EASY WIN FOR CONGRESS IN KARNATAKA ASSEMBLY POLLS
Bengaluru (Agencies):
Karnataka Opposition leader Siddaramaiah stated on Saturday that results of state assembly elections are a warning bell for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP for the next year’s Lok Sabha polls. However, former chief minister and senior BJP leader BS Yediyurappa stated that the results of Karnataka will not have any implications on Lok Sabha elections.
Siddaramaiah said the results have shown that the people will vote against BJP, and in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, parties other than BJP would form the government at the Centre.
Speaking to reporters, Siddaramaiah maintained that the victory has boosted morale of the party and with this enthusiasm the workers and cadres of Congress will march ahead. It is a mandate against PM Modi and BJP National President
Karnataka has given a new mantra to save democracy. It’s a pathway to save democracy and constitution across India. PM said ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’ but the people of Karnataka ensured that ‘BJP Mukt South India’. People opened shops of love and closed the shops of hatred.

Karnataka people are fed with the BJP government. There was strong anti-incumbency. BJP did not come to power on mandate in 2008 and 2018. There was a fractured verdict, they grabbed the power with ‘operation lotus’, Siddaramaiah said.
Siddaramaiah further stated that they (people) knew which party could come to power. Congress was sure of their preference. There was this hate party. People of Karnataka won’t tolerate the hate party and criminal politics, he stated targeting BJP.
On the other hand, former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa stated that the results of Karnataka will not have any implications on Lok Sabha elections. “We have won 25 Lok Sabha seats and once again we will get 25 seats and make PM Modi our Prime Minister,” Yediyurappa said.

WHO WILL BECOME THE NEW CHIEF OF CBI?
T he tenure of the current CBI director Subodh Kumar Jaiswal is ending in this month i.e. May. If sources are to be believed, the central government has also made up its mind that Jaiswal will not be given further extension, so the search for his successor continues vigorously. At present, three names are believed to be leading the race, the first of which is the current Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora, who is an IPS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre and feels that he is like an outsider in the Delhi Police. He is, allegedly, being treated as such, so he has expressed his desire to leave.

The third name of NIA chief Dinkar Gupta is in news, but it is believed that ‘RAW’ chief Samant Goyal wants to take him to his agency. In recent times, many IPS officers from Maharashtra have also got promotions, one of them is Atulchandra Kulkarni who is currently on deputation to ‘RAW’. His name is also mentioned in the race as the next chief of CBI. Another theory is going on that ‘this time the chance to become the Chief of CBI will be given to the same officer whose slate is clean and who has never worked in CBI before’.
PRIYANKA LIKELY TO GET IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITY IN MP POLLS
Congress is on cloud nine after the Karnataka victory. Sources reveal that now Priyanka is going to shift from UP to Madhya Pradesh. This can also be gauged from the fact that in the past, Priyanka has locked her office at Rae Bareli Road in Lucknow. Her entire team has now shifted from Lucknow to Delhi. It is believed that very soon the team will be shifted to Bhopal. Sources also reveal that ‘along with being the National General Secretary of the Congress, very soon Priyanka is going to get the responsibility of the National Women’s Congress as well.’ Apart from this, Priyanka will also have a lot of interference in the organizational matters of the Congress. Priyanka is going to play an important role in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, and if sources are to be believed, Priyanka can also be made the head of the campaign committee. If sources related to Priyanka are to be believed then she will start the campaign from Gwarighat in Jabalpur district where she will do a road show of more than 3 kilometers after Narmada Pujan. Notably, Gwarighat is situated on the banks of Narmada River, and it is believed that Guru Nanak Dev Ji also visited here.
NEPHEW’S ATTACK ON UNCLE PAWAR
NCP chief Sharad Pawar wants to declare his MP daughter Supriya Sule as his political heir due to his health reasons. Perhaps that is why Pawar had recently resigned from his post as NCP chief, wanting to “turn himself into a guide by handing over the chair of NCP chief to his daughter.” He called his nephew Ajit Pawar and wanted to explain that Ajit should keep his focus in Maharashtra politics and Supriya should write the script of expansion of NCP at the national level, but Ajit did not agree on this. On the contrary, he threatened that “if Supriya is declared the NCP chief, he will join the BJP along with most of the party’s MLAs.” This is the reason why Pawar had to withdraw his resignation to adopt a middle-of-the-road posture. On the other hand, the BJP is also having to reconsider its strategies due to the recent SC decision on the Shinde Government.

In the last 9 years, Congress has also learned the biggest lesson from its failures that its mass base is cracking on the ground, its organization is suffering from termites, its people are turning to other parties. So, in order to strengthen its booth management, the Congress has made preparations to hand over its responsibility to its senior leader DP Rai. Rai is a grassroots leader from West Bengal who has been a Congress MLA from Jalpaiguri and Alipore Gate, a member of the Rajya Sabha from 1984 to 1990, besides holding many responsibilities in the Congress organisation. DP Rai can be entrusted with the task of training Congress workers, who will train the cadre of Congress Seva Dal, Mahila Congress, NSUI and Youth Congress and teach them booth management. Till now the responsibility of running the training center in Congress was on Sachin Rao, who has been running the training center of Congress in Wardha, Maharashtra. But DP Rai believes that “what is the need for every Congress worker to go to Wardha for training, when they can organise such training camps in different states.”
WHO WILL BE IN CHARGE OF ED?
The Supreme Court expressed displeasure towards the government after the central government gave the third extension to ED Director Sanjay Mishra. The search for a new director of the Enforcement Directorate has started gaining pace. Only IAS, IPS and IRS officers take up the responsibility of ED chief. If sources are to be believed, at present two people are leading in the race for ED Chief.
One of them is 1989 batch IPS officer Sanjay Beniwal, DGP of Tihar Jail and the other name in the race is 1987 batch IRS officer Praveen Kumar, presently posted as Principal DG of Income Tax in Ahmedabad. The third service extension of the present ED chief Sanjay Mishra is ending in November this year. He was first appointed as ED Director in November 2018 for 2 years, then he was given one year extension from 2020. After this, in November 2021, the Central Government brought an ordinance by changing the ‘Central Vigilance Commissioner Act’ so that another extension of tenure could be given to Sanjay Mishra. Notably, Sanjay Mishra is a 1984 batch revenue service officer. He is also in charge of the ongoing ED investigation on 95 percent of the opposition leaders. This list of opposition leaders is very long which includes big names like Sonia, Rahul, Priyanka, Robert Vadra, DK Shivkumar, Hemant Soren, Farooq, Umar and Mehbooba Mufti, Anil Deshmukh.
KARNATAKA RESULTS: CONGRESS TRAPS BJP IN ITS WEB
The picture that was emerging in Karnataka since the time of election campaign, the election results also came out similar to this. In Kalyan Karnataka, Kittur and South Karnataka, the Congress hit the ground as expected. The BJP was successful in making the lotus bloom in Coastal Karnataka and Bengaluru. JDS stronghold itself has been breached at many places. It also seemed that instead of counting its development works, the BJP got trapped in the web woven by the Congress, so instead of raising legitimate issues, it picked up the ‘mace of Bajrang Bali’. In fact, while deciding the manifesto of the Congress, it was agreed that the Congress would ban organizations that divide the society on the

Jodhpur/Pali: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that due to the relief being provided in the inflation relief camps, the common man will get financial support, due to which his savings will increase.
“Public welfare schemes have been implemented by the State Government only after conducting an in-depth study for the all-round development of the common man. All the schemes are being implemented on the ground and the common people are getting immediate relief from them,” Gehlot said while addressing the general public on Saturday after visiting the inflation relief camp in Hariyadhana village
of Bilada, Jodhpur.
The Chief Minister inspected the inflation relief camp and the PGKS campaign. Also, while interacting with the beneficiaries, he handed over the 4 crorerth Chief Minister’s Guarantee Card to the beneficiary Usha Devi.

The meeting lasted for nearly one hour. Party sources said that the high command may take a big decision. Discussion regarding the youth Congress results were also discussed.

GEHLOT, BHANWAR AT CENTRE OF DISCUSSION
A new discussion has started in the political circles owing to the presence of former Union Minister Bhanwar Jitendra Singh with CM Gehlot. On Thursday, Bhanwar Jitendra Singh was present in 3 meetings with Gehlot in Alwar and Tapukara as per pre-determined schedule. The special thing is that Gehlot is getting Bhanwar Jitendr Singh’s speeches done in all the meetings. So this raises a new question: What is the meaning of this new equation?
target was set to provide 100 per cent relief to the eligible families through inflation relief camps, in which more than 88 lakh families have received 4.10 crore relief guarantee cards by registering in various schemes. Gehlot said this at the public meeting at Jawaibandh Gram Panchayat located at Sumerpur in
Pali district after inspecting the inflation relief camp and Prashasan Gaon Ke Sang campaign and also inaugurated works worth Rs 36.55 crore.
Gehlot also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 101 works worth Rs 153 crore at Nawan in Nagaur on Saturday.
‘Raje statement’ misinterpreted, clarifies Gehlot V-P
Speaking on his statement on Vasundhara Raje, CM Gehlot said that the meaning of his statement has been misinterpreted.
“There was a time when all politicians used to meet each other. At the time of Bhairon Singh ji, my leaders used to meet Bhairon Singh ji and his MLAs used to come to meet me. But now it is not like that. Some people, including Vasundhara’s advisor, and people like Rajendra Rathore never wanted our relations to be good, that’s why I never had good relations with Raje. But he (Rajendra Rathore) also cheated Bhairon Singh ji and clung to Vasundhara Raje,” he said. Gehlot sarcastically said that Raje works with a sense of revenge. She stopped many of my schemes.

Ajmer/Jaipur: With Congress registering a thumping victory by winning 136 seats in the Karnataka Assembly elections, Sachin Pilot on Saturday said that the issue of “corruption” raised by the party against the ruling BJP turned out decisive in the victory.
The former Deputy Chief Minister made
these remarks during the third day of his ‘Jan Sangharsh Yatra’ in Ajmer’s Zisani on Friday. “Congress has the majority. We will have a thumping victory. The slogan of ‘40 per cent commission government’ given by us, was accepted by the public. It was a major issue raised by us to defeat BJP. People accepted it and gave the majority to the Congress,” Pilot said.

Pratapgarh: Targeting the Congress Government in Rajasthan, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said on Saturday that the command of the state is in the hands of such people who are having fun knowing that they are not going to come back to power. She also said that women should not be
underestimated.
Speaking at a programme in Pratapgarh, Raje referred to an incident from Ramayana that Bharat placed ‘charan padukas’ of Sri Ram on throne and said that today people try to grab the chair as soon as they get a chance.
“Whenever there is any mention of loyalty, the name of Ram bhakt Hanuman comes first. But nowadays, the ones
leave first whom you made ‘Hanuman’,” Raje said.
She said that the one who is blessed by God does not need to fear
anyone because Victory always belongs to such people.
The former chief minister said that men and women are equal. “Women are underestimated, which is wrong,” she said.
Vasundhara Raje participated in Murlidhar Maharaj’s Ram Katha program at Hori village in Pratapgarh. She also had darshan of lord Hanuman there.

ers, and sisters to take the time we need for rest and self-restoration. This Mother’s Day, let’s extend grace to the women around us who are nurturing their families and help encourage them to take care of themselves, whether it’s just for an hour or a long weekend.
We all know a mother in our lives who could benefit from some extra self-care, maybe you are that mother who just needs a little pampering. Having children is above and beyond a full-time job: it’s a 24/7 lifestyle, especially during our babies’ early years. A lack of sleep combined with expending constant energy on supervising, entertaining, and caring for little ones can drain a person, which is exactly why it’s essential to break free for a few moments now and again.
But prioritizing self-care is not always easy. That’s why we, especially as women, must create space for ourselves, our friends, moth-

Remember that a good skincare routine is not just about looking younger but also about maintaining healthy skin. Taking care of your skin can help prevent skin cancer, protect against environmental damage, and promote overall skin", said the expert Dr Joshi, when asked for skin care tips for ageing moms.
When asked, how working moms can balance between work life and self-care, Dr Swati said, "Working mothers often have a lot on their plate, juggling work, household responsibilities, and taking care of their children. It's essential for them to take time for themselves, even if it's just 10-15 minutes a day to do something that they enjoy, like reading a book or taking a relaxing bath." She further added, "Having a strong support system, whether it's a partner, family members, or friends, can make a big difference in a working mother's life. Regular exercise along with healthy eating habits is a must too."
HERE ARE SOME OF THE MOST COMMON TYPES OF SKIN TREATMENTS:
● FACIAL TREATMENTS: These are non-invasive treatments that focus on improving the appearance and health of the skin on the face.
● INJECTABLES: Injectables are minimally invasive treatments that involve injecting a substance, such as Botox or fillers, into the skin to smooth out wrinkles or add volume to the face.
● LASER TREATMENTS: Laser treatments use light energy to penetrate the skin and stimulate collagen production, which can help reduce wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture, and remove unwanted hair.

An epitome of love, care and affection. Ready to take any desired action. All set to teach you that perfection. Always worried for your protection. You are certainly one of her priced possessions. She's a mother.
She sketches and paints you in her dreams.
She carves and caresses you inside her body.
She develops an emotional bond with you; an unknown somebody. She forgets all pain and anxiety to bring you alive.
She withers herself to see you sparkle and shine. She's a mother.
She distorts her own body, Subsides down her preferences. Subdues her moods. Submerges her cravings. She ensures your health and happiness, safety and success. She's a mother.
Just a shout or a call away.
Waiting desperately in sheer dismay.
When you are engrossed in your own preferences. She feels those unending differences and distances.
Unwanted and worthless due to your ignorance.
Moist eyes always awaiting your presence. She's a mother.
A warm hug and some words of love, A little time over a cup of tea or a dinner date
A wakeful night recollecting those wonderful memories.
Your hand in her hand, assuring concern and comfort.
What else does she want?
She's a mother.
Buckets full of love.
Ocean full of blessings.
You are the Sun, the brightest of all stars.
She hides and conceals all your scars. She weeps those happy tears. She's your true well-wisher. She's nonother than a mother!

Any woman can give birth to a child; that’s a very simple phenomenon. But to be a mother needs great art needs great understanding. You are creating a human being - that is the greatest creation! A painter paints a picture; we call it great art. Picasso, we call him a great artist. But what
created Picasso? A poet writes beautiful poems, but what about the mother who created Shakespeare? We don’t think about mothers as the greatest creative people on the earth.
A mother is the epitome of beauty and poise. It is that one word that cannot be defined in a single phrase; that one word that embodies all the love a human being could possibly offer. A
