Additional District Judge Mohammad Aslam Siddiqui awarded the sentence to 17 people in the 1994 double murder case, Special Public Prosecutor, Vijay Singh said. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 30 each on all the convicts, he said. In a tragic incident which took place on August 8 where three women devotees named Shanti Devi from Hisar, Maya Devi from Hathras and Krapa Sen from Jaipur succumbed to their injuries due to a stampede outside Khatu Shyam ji temple in Sikar.
