JMCG Mayor Dr Somya informed that in place of G-20, Antyodaya-20 is being organized, in which 5,000 street vendors will be distributed ID cards and loans will be given to them by banks for employment. On this occasion, the mayor administered the oath of cleanliness to the people in the programme.

If BJP bags 35 LS seats of WB, TMC regime will collapse: Shah

Suri (PTI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday appealed to the people to ensure BJP’s victory in 35 seats out of the 42 in West Bengal in the next Lok Sabha polls, saying that the TMC government would not survive beyond 2025 if the target is achieved.

New Delhi: Death row convicts are taking advantage of an inordinate delay in deciding mercy petitions, the Supreme Court has said while directing the state governments and authorities concerned to see such pleas are decided and disposed of at the earliest. A bench of Justices MR Shah and CT Ravikumar said even after the final conclusion by the top court, there is an inordinate delay in not deciding the mercy petition, the object and purpose of the death sentence would be frustrated.

WHAT’S HAPPENING!

The Mrs VogueStar India category is further divided into two groups, with group one consisting of married women aged 18-35 and group two consisting of women aged 36-60. Founder of VogueStar, Kirti Choudhary, expressed excitement about the enthusiasm of the participants and the opportunity for women to showcase their talent and beauty, irrespective of their backgrounds. Choudhary also highlighted that VogueStar 2023 is amending the stereotypes of the beauty pageant industry that often limits participation based on factors such as shape, colour, or size. The grand finale features the participation of 700 participants who have been extensively trained for six months by a team of experts.

JECRC College began its techno-cultural festival, Renaissance 2023, from April 13 to 15. Renaissance is a fest organised by the students of JECRC, Jaipur every year to acknowledge their great ideas not only in techno but also in cultural events. Famous stand-up comedian Harsh Gujral became the star of the fest on the first day, and his jokes echoed laughter and enthusiasm throughout the campus. It is noted that more than 10,000+ children from over 50+ cities across India registered for the fest. Vice Chairman of JECRC, Arpit Agrawal, stated that he believes this type of fest is necessary for the “holistic development” of students.
