But the Animal Husbandry Dept is able to vaccinate only 30 to 35 thousand cows daily. There is talk of less availability of vaccines from the state government. But the sources of the department claim that more than 16 lakh vaccines are available with the depart ment, but out of these, only 9 lakh vaccines have been administered. According to the livestock census 2019, number of cows in state is 1.40 cr, of which only 9.14 lakh are vaccinated so far.
Bhilwara: In the coming days, the infection of Lumpy will be less in the state. State Animal Husbandry and Agri Min Lalchand Kataria has claimed this. Kataria stayed for some time in the textile city Bhilwara while going from Rajsamand to Jaipur. He said in 12 districts there is absolutely no outbreak of Lumpy in the district. The Agriculture Minister said that the fight with Lumpy will have to be fought on the lines of Coronavirus. Kataria claimed to win the battle with Lumpy in the coming 20 days. He said the Govt will form animal friends on the lines of Corona Warriors and the govt will give 500 new ambulances in veterinary hospitals.

The Navratri special train will commence its maiden run from Delhi to Katra on September 30, it said. Foreign fund outflows and losses in the domestic equity markets also hit the rupee sentiment, forex traders said. At the interbank foreign exchange market, the domestic currency opened at 79.58 per dollar. It hovered in a range of 79.38 to 79.60 during the session. The domestic unit finally settled at 79.52, down 35 paise over its previous close of 79.17, ending its four-session gaining streak during which it rose by 78 paise. The dollar bided well after the rate market started pricing a full percentage point hike in the next week’s FOMC meeting.

India produces around 110-120 million kg of orthodox tea annually, as against the normal Sri Lanka produce of 300 million kg.
