Akola: Rahul Gandhi on Thursday again targeted late Hindutva ideologue V D Savarkar, claiming that he helped the British rulers and wrote a mercy petition to them out of fear. Gandhi also dared the Maharashtra government to stop the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is currently passing through the state.
His statement comes in the wake of a few leaders from the ruling parties in the state demanding that the yatra be stopped in the state in view of his remarks against Savarkar.

CM Hemant Soren has alleged big “conspiracy” by BJP to oust his elected government and create instability in the state. He made these allegations ahead of his questioning in the illegal mining case. Soren also warned his party MLAs of more raids by the central agencies in the days to come to scare them.
“Allegations don’t seem to be possible at all. I feel agencies should come to a concrete conclusion only after a detailed probe. I’m a CM, the manner in which summoning is being done makes it look like we’re people who flee the country,”
he said and added, “Such actions create uncertainty in state. It can be called a conspiracy to destabilise govt. Our rivals were conspiring to topple Govt ever since we came to power. This submarine of conspiracy didn’t have strength to rise out of water-attempts being made to bring it out.”

The bypoll will be held on December 5 and the result declared on December 8.
Jaipur: BJP has picked up 40 star campaigners for the by-election to Sardarshahar assembly seat in Churu. Among these, the name of BJP state president Satish Poonia is on the top. PSKS yet to gain momentum in City
Jaipur: The State Government may have begun the Prashasan Shehron Ke Sang (PSKS) Abhiyan many months ago, but the campaign to issue land deeds to plot owners is yet to gain momentum.

Even though several orders and circulars have been issued by the Department of Urban Development and Housing to give various relaxations, the campaign is being run at a very slow pace. In Jaipur, there

been issued.
The PSKS Abhiyan will be held till March 31, 2023. The JDA was given a target to issue 1 lakh land deeds, but so far it has issued 67,285 pattas. JDA Commissioner Ravi Jain informed that regularisation camps are being organised and plot owners are being issued land deeds.
“As soon as an applicant comes and applies for deeds in camps, they are issued pattas within an hour of their application,” said JDC Ravi Jain.
Similarly, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (Heritage) was given a target of distributing 20,000 lease deeds, but it could only give 4,538 land deeds. “A total of 4,538 lease deeds have been issued by the JMCH. Most of the area in the municipal limits falls under an eco-sensitive zone, so it is diffi-
cult to issue land deeds. The Government has cleared the way and the campaign will now gain momentum,” Heritage Commissioner Vishram Meena said.
Likewise, JMCG could only distribute 2,355 land deeds out of the given target of 20,000. “There is not a much-populated area in Greater Municipal Corporation, so fewer deeds have been issued. But, the campaign will now pick up speed,” Deputy Commissioner (Planning) of JMCG said.

Jaipur: JDA has cancelled the lease deed of a land allotted in Nilay Kunj in Jagatpura area for minority hostel. The deed was cancelled on technical ground. However, sources said that objection by the local people is the reason behind the cancellation.
Local public representatives and residents have been protesting against the hostel. Amid the rising protest, the JDA took the decision to cancel the patta. Now the land will be allotted for the hostel elsewhere.
Earlier, for the development of the minority community in the State, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had approved a revised proposal to spend Rs 98.55 crore in various schemes from a fund of Rs 100 crore set up for the upliftment of the minorities.

CALM HANDLING OF MISSILE CRISIS AVERTS A GLOBAL CONFLICT

“E
veryone has the will to suc ceed, but few have the will to prepare for it.” This quote by American Basketball coach Bobby Knight, resonates well with the current state of In dian cricket. While many plans and strategies were laid out after the debacle in the 2021 T20 World Cup, none were strongly implemented whereby India returned emp ty-handed from yet another World Cup. Now, the wait for an ICC Trophy has extended to 10 years since it was 2013 when Indian won the Cham pions Trophy in England.
It wasn’t just the captain that they changed in 2015. In stead, players suited to and specialists in the shorter for mats were given priority over more established play ers. The whole cricketing world wants to emulate their strategy now, and India put a plan in place last year by bringing together the RohitRahul duo as the captaincoach to usher in this change, especially keeping in mind the 2022 T20 World Cup. Sad ly, at the recent World Cup, India faltered by playing the same brand of cricket that they have been following for years.
The T20 game has changed a lot since India won the title back in 2007 and the approach to batting has evolved enormously. Unfortunately, most Indian players are still stuck in the past, playing old-fashioned cricket. Many experts questioned why a match winner like Rishabh Pant was not in the playing eleven
More than the quicks it was the surprising omission of Yuzvendra Chahal who wasn’t picked for a single game! England bamboozled India and Pakistan both in the knockout matches with the leg spin of Adil Rashid.
In fact, much of Pakistan’s success can be attributed to the leg spin of Shadab Khan. But India played Ashwin and Axar, both of whom went for plenty in the semis against England as they bowled pre dictably without any element of surprise.
missile believed to have been misfired by Ukraine landed in Poland killing two people could have brought the Russia-Ukraine conflict to Europe. Luckily, timely and fair investigation allayed the initial suspicion that the missile was fired by Russia. The Soviet-era missile came from Ukraine, the investigators concluded, thus averting a major confrontation. Had it been proved that the projectile came from Russia the Nato countries and the US would have been forced into a direct war against Russians.
Ukraine escaped an outright condemnation as it is facing a barrage of missile attacks from Russia. On the day the missile was misfired, Kyiv’s critical facilities, including power stations, were hit by as many as 50 missiles. The human error looks quite possible as the Ukrainian missile was directed at an incoming Russian projectile.
Moscow strongly denied any missile strike on Poland and the West also reacted with maturity and calm to save the world from a disaster.
The fans are unhappy and want major changes to take place in the team. A traditional approach to batting, backing out of form senior players, an effective bowling attack with no space for wrist spinners and poor captaincy are some of the key factors behind India’s poor show in big games
For the change to happen, Team India just has to take a leaf out of England’s book. Many experts have pointed out the transformation and the efforts put in by the Eng lish management to overhaul their white ball cricket. In 2015, England were rudely jolted as they were ousted from the group league in the ODI World Cup. What hap pened after that is history as the English team appointed a new captain for the shorter format in Eoin Morgan and changed their approach to playing fearless cricket. To day, they have become the only team in cricket history to hold both the ODI and T20 World Cups at the same time.
NOTHING CURIOUS ABOUT JARIWALA CASE
The fans are unhappy and want major changes to take place in the team. A tradi tional approach to batting, backing out of form senior players, an effective bowling attack with no space for wrist spinners and poor captaincy are some of the key factors behind India’s poor show in big games. But it is the style of play that needs the biggest tweaking along with an ag gressive approach to the game.
In the semi-final against England, India started poorly in the powerplay overs, some thing that Rohit had claimed the team was working on se riously. In many bilateral se ries leading up to the World Cup, India had played aggres sively at the start but in cru cial games and tense situa tions, they faltered. The T20 game has changed a lot since India won the title back in 2007 and the approach to bat
ting has evolved enormously. Unfortunately, most Indian players are still stuck in the past, playing old-fashioned cricket.

Even some of the selec tions were bizarre and many experts questioned why a match winner like Rishabh Pant was not in the playing eleven. Dinesh Karthik was not part of the team’s setup for years after the 2019 ODI World Cup and had started commentating with Sky Sports. But he was recalled solely on the basis of his per formances in the IPL. Moreo ver, India lacked depth in the bowling department. With the injury to Jasprit Bum rah, India missed a genuine pace bowler, one who could bowl well at the top and in death overs. Every team had one or two genuine quick bowlers which the Indian
The case of Kanchan Jariwala, Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate from Surat (East) would have been curious had it not happened in the midst of a hectic political campaign. This disappearance of a candidate and his re-emergence the next day to announce a change in his allegiance from one party to another is not surprising. But was Jariwala kidnapped, as alleged by the AAP, to force him to withdraw his nomination papers or did AAP overplay its hand? In his statement Jariwala said he was voluntarily withdrawing due to the internal conflicts with AAP “leaders and workers”.

Now, barely a week after crashing out of the World Cup, Team India begins a white ball series in New Zea land hoping for a fresh start to its search for a right com bination. With Hardik Pan dya leading a young side, In dia will look ahead to locate players with an approach that befits the modern T20 game. Umran Malik, Kuldeep Yadav, Ishan Kishan and San ju Samson will be the players to lookout for in the series.

fair” probe into the incident. However, after Jariwala’s statement there is nothing left for investigation.
Hullabaloo by AAP over Jariwala’s alleged kidnap ping was needless. In 2021, he contested the Surat civic body election on Congress ticket but lost to the BJP. Surat East is considered a stronghold of the BJP. In 2017 Assembly election AAP was able to garner only 0.22 percent of the votes which was less than the votes polled by NOTA.
Notwithstanding the truth behind the controversy, it does expose the dark side of Indian politics. Clean and controversyfree elections have become a rarity. Most of the times these allegations are baseless and frivolous and malign the democratic process.

Congress cries foul, demands K’taka CM’s resignation
Bengaluru (PTI): The Congress in Karnataka on Thursday charged the Chief Minister with “corrupt electoral electoral practice” vis-a-vis an “awareness programme,” a charge rejected outright by Basavaraj Bommai who said the opposition party was bankrupt with ideas.
The CM asserted he was ready to face an enquiry and also get investigated, Congress’ allegation that a private firm engaged in voter survey in the city collected details, including on individuals’ caste and their Aadhaar.
As the issue erupted into a political row, the city’s civic body announced terminating the permission granted to the NGO involved in the programme and authorities said action will be taken against it if it was found to be involved in violations.

Addressing a press conference here in pollbound Gujarat, Rajya Sabha member Digvijaya Singh said there cannot be a bigger administrative failure than the bridge collapse tragedy last month which claimed 135 lives, and said CM Patel should have resigned over the incident.
The suspension bridge located on the Machchhu river in Morbi collapsed on October 30, four days after it was reopened following its repair and renovation.
MORBI BRIDGE WAS REOPENED SANS APPROVAL: CIVIC BODY TO HC
Ahmedabad: The Morbi municipality has told the Gujarat High Court that the company tasked with renovating the bridge, which collapsed killing 135 people, reopened it without any prior approval and without informing the civic body. The municipality also informed the court that as per a 2022 agreement between the civic body and the firm, it was for the Ajanta company to “appropriately renovate” the bridge and only then open it for the public.

W ith Sardarshahar byelection nearing, BJP has got one more issue to take a dig at Congress. LoP GC Ka taria has once again cornered Congress on state in-charge Ajay Maken’s resignation issue saying that National Prez Mallikarjun Kharge & Maken had seen the entire drama.
“Congress is completely disintegrated,” he said.
A fresh ‘tug of war’ between CM Gehlot and Sachin Pilot camps over Rahul Yatra route !
RaGa’s Padyatra in Rajasthan on Dec 3 will be spectacular, says Mumtaz Masih
Jaipur: Ahead of Ra hul Gandhi's ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra,’ political tussle has intensified within the Rajasthan Congress. The Sachin Pilot camp has objected to the question of changing the route of Rahul Gandhi's Yatra.

On the other hand, the Pradesh Congress Com mittee is engaged in making Rahul Gandhi's Padyatra glorious and historic. The task force
formed for the Yatra had talked about chang ing the route chart pass ing through forest area. This is the reason why the route chart has not been finalised yet. The 'Warlords' of the Gehlot camp are busy making the Yatra, a success.
Rajasthan is fast be coming a challenge for Rahul Gandhi. Ajay Maken's relinquish ment from the post of State in-charge has heated up the politics.
On the other hand, lead ers associated with Sachin Pilot camp say that there shouldn’t be any change in route chart of RaGa's ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ passing through Rajasthan.
State Congress Bharat Jodo Control Room team member and Ashok Gehlot's con fidant Mumtaz Masih said that Rahul Gan dhi's Padyatra in Ra jasthan will be spectac ular as there is great enthusiasm among Congress workers, and its route chart is being decided.
Internal politics is coming to the fore on the question of chang ing the route chart of Rahul Gandhi's upcom ing visit to Rajasthan, the leader of the Gehlot group is advocating a change in the travel route due to the forest area, while the Pilot camp does not agree with the arguments of
changing the route.
Rahul Gandhi's Pady atra in Rajasthan is pro posed from December 3. Rajasthan's PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, Ministers Ramlal Jat, Pramod Jain Bhaya, RTDC Chairman Dhar mendra Rathore and Sandeep Chaudhary had gone to Maharash tra to discuss the route chart with Rahul's team. Talks have been conducted and now, RaGa’s team has to take final decision on the fi nal route of the Yatra. All said and done, one thing is sure that the internal discord has arisen in the Rajasthan Congress, which is not going to stop soon.

Memories express themselves in tears, sadness and depression and at times denial. Which should be the best way to deal with the memories of the departed ones yet alive in our hearts? There is a designated Day by the United Nations that answers this question - The UN World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims which falls on every third Sunday of November.
It is a day to acknowledge the pain of those families who have lost their dear ones in road accidents. It is a Day to pay homage to their memory. The United Nations endorses it as a global day, making it a major advocacy for road traffic injury prevention. The day is observed by civil societies and social groups all over the world in more than 58 countries. We have 13.50 lakhs in the world and over 1.50 lakhs in India dying on the roads every year.
The poignant poser is what do we do with the fact that roads take away people we love and leave the families totally resourceless to deal with the sudden demise?
One most effective and positive steps are to turn the pain into a campaign, a mission to prevent such a loss. Yes, it is not easy, yet it is possible. Well then, there are those who somehow go beyond their personal sorrow and include others by forming civil societies. Such individual efforts take a huge step forward to mitigate accidents and pain. Empathy has a sense of brotherhood. The UN World Day of Remembrance does that.
Muskaan foundation for Road Safety which had resolved to move from personal to universal has been observing the Day for the sixth year now. These days the Muskaan office is a hub of activities as the team members work from nine to nine putting to-
