All of a sudden, a very old woman, climbed aboard and found a seat for herself. When the conductor asked her for the ticket, she mentioned to him what her destination was. The conductor, however, bluntly told her that the bus did not stop there and that she must get off the bus. The woman still requested the conductor to drop her off at her destination as it was very difficult for her to board another bus. But the conductor would not budge!
Narendra bhai, at that point got up and had a word with the conductor. He rebuked the conductor “Is this bus only for you and your staff? Are you going to harass the public in this way?”
Narendra bhai advised the conductor to correct his attitude towards people and told him that buses ply for the convenience of the public and not to make life more difficult for them. In a little while, Modiji made the conductor stop the bus at the point where the old lady
PM MODI: A BEACON OF LIGHT IN A SEA OF DESPAIR
The year gone by was very tough for me. I was extremely sick and my treatment was going on at a Mumbai hospital. During that toughest phase of my life, he called me up at least two to three times in order to take a health update. These phone calls from him used to boost me up no end because every time he would call, he would motivate me and assure me that I was going to get okay. Not just this, he would tell me not to worry even about the smallest of things. I was concerned throughout of the fact that because of my illness I was missing the Parliamentary sessions, and this is something that I shared with the Parliamentary Affairs Minister also. Modiji came to know about this and he said to me over phone “You should not worry about anything but your health. I am hundred percent sure of the fact that you will emerge out of this completely fine and healthy.”
I don’t have words to express how relieved I used to feel after speaking with him. His aura is so gentle and reassuring that whoever gets to meet him is touched by his soothing presence. Haven’t you observed PM Modi getting emotional at times? That is because he is a very soft-hearted
person. When he delivers the farewell speeches, it is not just words that he is articulating. The words come straight from his heart and he is overcome with emotion whenever it is a poignant moment. While bidding farewell to Ghulam Nabi Azadji, he spoke about the Gujarati tourists killed by terrorists in Kashmir. Remembering that, Modiji almost choked with tears and grief.
These traits about his personality clearly bring out the soft side of an apparently tough administrator. Modiji is resolute and tenacious on the outside and is soft and tender from within. He is a sensitive human being who worries about the well-being of his people and that’s his top priority!
ANY ENCOUNTER WITH PEOPLE IN DISTRESS MELTS NARENDRA MODIJI’S HEART AND THE COURAGE IN HIM ENSURES THAT JUSTICE IS METED OUT TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DEALT AN UNFAIR HAND
wanted to get down and helped her alight the bus.
Then he got back to the conductor and said to him
“Kyun Hero, have you now understood how you need to
behave with people? In case you have not, I will lodge a complaint against you. You must learn to respect the aged and those who are in need of help. People who need our support are worthy of love and respect and we must help them with all our heart. Our intentions should be pure!” This is a lesson I will never forget. Any encounter with people in distress melts Modiji’s heart and the courage in him ensures that justice is meted out to those who have been dealt an unfair hand.
MODIJI SLOWED DOWN HIS JEEP TO KEEP PACE WITH AN INJURED JOURNALIST
Once, Narendra Modi was holding a parade march in an open jeep on 15th August, as you know, the media moves in front of the cavalcade to shoot the movements. Unfortunately, during the shooting, I met with an accident and suffered a leg injury.
I was walking with a limp and was trailing behind the other journalists who were walking at a much faster pace. Imagine now, Modiji observed from his jeep that I was injured and was in pain
and that I could not shoot the video from in front of his jeep like other journalists. So he gestured towards me to slow down. He said “Please calm down. It is risky for you to cover the moving jeep and don’t try to catch up with others.” Not just this, he even slowed down his jeep for me!
I managed to shoot what I had to cover and later on, I thanked him from the bottom of my heart for his kind gesture. Though I was injured, I was touched by
the concern Modiji showed for me. His greatest qualities are his keen sense of observation and empathy. Even today, I feel pride when I recall that day. It was a moment of honour for me when the PM himself took cognizance of my suffering and comforted me with his kindness. TO BE

AF, Navy on standby as India to evacuate citizens from Sudan
The UN World Health Organisation says over 420 people had been killed
New Delhi (Agencies):
India is actively looking at options of land routes to move its citizens stuck in intense fighting zones to safer places in Sudan, sources said. Violence broke out in capital Khartoum and across other regions in Sudan on April 15 between forces loyal to army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his deputy-turned-rival Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, who commands the powerful paramilitary Rapid Support Forces.
The former allies seized power in a 2021 coup but later fell out in a bitter power struggle.
As the airport is not functional in Khartoum, that is seeing the fiercest of fight, sources say, safe land routes are being explored. The land routes will be used to
move them to safer zones first, which is priority. Indian Embassy personnel will stay put as of now so as to be able to coordinate and assist in the operation, the sources added. The government said that apart from the Sudanese authorities, the Indian Em-
bassy in Sudan is also in touch with the UN, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, and US among others. It said it is coordinating with various partners for the safe movement of those Indians who are stranded in Sudan and would like to be evacuated. “As part of
our preparations, and in order to move swiftly, the Government of India is pursuing multiple options. Two Indian Air Force C-130J are currently positioned on standby in Jeddah. And, INS Sumedha has reached Port Sudan,” the government said.

Prohibitory orders after protests over girl’s death
US, OTHER NATIONS SCRAMBLE TO EVACUATE CITIZENS AS SUDAN BATTLES RAGE
Khartoum: US troops swooped in on helicopters to evacuate embassy staff from Sudan’s battle-torn capital, President Joe Biden said Sunday, as other nations sought to help their citizens flee deadly fighting between rival generals. France and Turkey on Sunday also launched evacuation operations from the troubled northeast African nation, where ongoing fighting has entered its second week. Ferocious battles between the Sudanese army and a paramilitary group -- which has seen fighting with tanks in densely populated Khartoum and air strikes launched by fighter jets -- have killed more than 400 people and left thousands wounded. Biden, who said the US military “conducted an operation” to extract US government personnel, condemned the violence, saying “it’s unconscionable and it must stop”.

“Prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC have been imposed for a fortnight from today as a precautionary measure, though the duration is subject to review. As per the law, we will not allow a congregation of four or more people. Action will be taken

Public hearing for consumers in Greater Noida on April 28 U’khand issues weather alert for pilgrims
Greater Noida: Electricity consumers in Greater Noida will have an opportunity to express their views on the tariff petition from Noida Power Company Ltd. (NPCL), the distribution licensee, by participating in the public hearing convened by the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) on April 28, 2023, (Friday) at Gautam Budh University (Auditorium 1).
NPCL filed its tariff petition for approval of the true-up for FY 2021–
22, the annual performance review for FY 2022–23, & aggregate revenue requirement and tariff for FY 2023–24 on November 30, 2022.
The UPERC admitted its petition on February 20, 2023, and decided to convene a public hearing on April 28, to hear
comments & opinions from all stakeholders and the public at large. UPERC, while determining tariffs for FY 2022-23 based on the performance of NPCL, has reduced the electricity tariff for consumers in Greater Noida by providing a Regulatory Discount of 10%, making electricity tariffs the lowest in the entire state of UP, and that too without any subsidy support from the state government. Thus, it is a winwin for both consumers and state government.

Now if you want to browse through details about both Houses of Parliament, i.e. Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, on the Internet, you can login to either of the two URLs: www.sansad. in/ls or www.sansad/ rs, or even by logging into any of them. Once this is done, you will be introduced to a new look website of both the Houses. What's more, even if one clicks at either of the URLs, there is a link given of websites of both Houses, so there's now no need to enter separate URLs to access websites of both the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament, as was the case earlier.
Also, an interesting aspect on the new Lok Sabha website's homepage is the link to UK's Parliament and to legislative bodies of India, i.e. it takes to links of all legislative assemblies and legislative councils of Indian states. Parliament sources said that the new look websites are clutterfree and more easy on the eyes, which has been done to make it more user-friendly.

Suffering FROM UTI?
WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED
Urinary tract infec-
tions (UTIs) are a widespread problem that affects millions of individuals, mostly women. The infection arises when bacteria enter the urinary system and grow, causing symptoms such as pain during urination, frequent urination, and pelvic pain.
Water can be your best friend
Water is crucial for maintaining good health and especially important for preventing UTIs. When you drink plenty of water, it helps to flush away harmful bacteria and toxins that may be present in the urinary tract.
