Atithi Devo Bhava: Gehlot plays perfect host to Raj Royals Naresh Sharma

Padmini Devi of erstwhile Jaipur Royal family greets Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at CMR on Sunday.

Jaipur: After being sidelined, isolated and ignored during Vasundhara Raje government on Raj Mahal Palace hotel land and other related issues, it was a pleasant moment for the entire erstwhile Jaipur royal family, when Padmini Devi, her daughter and BJP MP Diya Kumari and Diya’s son Padmanabh Singh had a good cup of tea, some biscuits and sweets at 8 Civil Lines on Sunday with the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his

wife Sunita Gehlot. The family was highly impressed with the courtesy and politeness of the “humane face” Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. It is believed that after becoming the chief minister, this was Gehlot’s second meeting with royal family members. Actually, being in the saffron party, Diya Kumari was not expecting such a positive response from the Congress Chief Minister, but Gehlot surprised them all. Turn to P10
