Raipur: The 85th Congress Plenary Session ended on Sunday with the declaration of Raipur Call to Action (Raipur Ki Hunkaar) in which Rajasthan also found a mention.

“The coming year will see important state elections in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan and Telangana. Party workers and leaders must work with discipline, solidarity and complete unity to ensure our victory. The results of these elections will set the tone for the allimportant 2024 Lok Sabha elections,” the declaration said.

The party also said that its govts in Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan are models for the rest of the country and Rajasthan’s Mukhya Mantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana and Chhattisgarh’s RG Kisan Nyay

Yojana have set the bar for other states.

Meanwhile, it is also being reported that the leaders who have lost the last two or three consecutive elections may not get a ticket this time. Those who got defeated by a big margin in the last election will also be bereft of tickets.

Security beefed up ahead of Prez visit to Bikaner today

Droupadi Murmu will reach Bikaner on Monday in a special flight and leave for Dr Karni Singh Stadium by road. She will inaugurate the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav at the stadium at 4 pm and observe the courtyards built in different seven zones across the country. She will leave for New Delhi in the evening.

Earlier, the President was scheduled to stay in Bikaner from 11 am to 6 pm. Security has been tightened around the stadium. The NSG team has been in Bikaner for a week. Barricades have been installed on both sides of Bikaner-Jaisalmer Highway.
