Jaipur: On the instructions of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, a core group has been constituted at the state level for better operation and monitoring of the ‘War for purity’ campaign against adulteration across the state from 26 October. It will supervise and coordinate the district level management committees and local investigation teams of the group campaign. Chief

from 26 October to 14 November. During the ‘War for Purity’ campaign, milk, mawa, paneer, sweets, other milk products, flour, gram flour, edible oil and ghee,

dry fruits, spices, other foods will be checked on various parameters. The core group constituted at the state level for smooth operation, management and monitoring of the state-wide campaign includes the Principal Secretary of the Home and Medical and Health Departments and the Secretaries of the Food and Supplies and Animal Husbandry and Dairy Departments. This core group will keep constant

contact with the district level management committees and the district collector and ensure strict, on the spot action against food manufacturers, wholesalers and big retailers who are feeding on the health of the people by adulterating food items.
