THE NEW PRIORITY INVESTING IN THE STOCK MARKET
LIC’s IPO was the most talked about. Among newage startups, the IPOs of Paytm and Zomato also created a lot of buzz. Perhaps this was the main reason that even when there was a period of economic recession during the Corona epidemic, the Indian capital market continued to grow because a large number of new investors joined the Indian capital market during that period
If we analyze the economic savings data of the Indian economy, we can conclude that the period between 2004 and 2010 was a prosperous era. This is evident from the consistent year-on-year increase in the percentage of economic savings and GDP during this time frame. Hence, it can be regarded as a golden time for the Indian economy.
In the year 2010, the economic savings was at 36.9 percent, which was the highest level till date, because during that time the growth rate of the Indian economy also increased rapidly every year. Since the year 2011, there has been a decrease in the figures of economic savings and the factors are the decrease in the rate of economic growth, rise in the inflation level and the feeling of disappointment with the political leadership in the first few years. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic emerged as a worldwide crisis, bringing with it unexpected physical and economic challenges for the entire society.
During the year 2020-21, the starting year of Corona, the economic savings in the Indian economy was 28 percent of GDP because a large number of people lost their jobs during the lockdown, yet the positive trend
is evident from the fact that the year 2021-22, Economic savings remained above 30 percent of GDP. That is, the behavior of financial savings is continuously intact among Indians.
It is worthwhile to mention here that over the past few years, the banking sector has lost its position as the primary point of focus. Instead, there has been a steady rise in the domestic savings of Indians, drawing attention away from the banking industry. Therefore, it is self-evident that many other sources of economic investment are becoming the priorities of the people. For example, the prevalence of insurance increased very rapidly during the Corona epidemic. It is also necessary to clarify here that life insurance in India has always been a main source of financial investment along with banks. Every Indian receives the treatment of financial investment in life insurance as a family approach. During the Corona epidemic, since physical crises were very sudden and uncertain, the practice of medical insurance suddenly increased rapidly in the society, but this practice could not take a permanent position as it saw a rapid decrease in the next financial year. This is a matter of great concern for the insurance business as to why insurance penetration is still very low in India today? During the year of Corona Pandemic, it suddenly increased from 3.8 percent to 4.2 percent. It should be known that the global average figure of insurance is 7 percent and in many developed countries in-
cluding America, Britain etc. it is above 10 percent. Insurance companies must think in this regard whether the cost of premium in Indian society is high or not?
In recent times, there has been a noticeable surge in the flow of economic savings of Indians towards the Indian capital market. This trend has been receiving significant attention and recognition. According to statistics, in the year 2021-22, one million new investors were associated with the Indian capital market, who made financial investments through SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) in mutual funds. Out of this more than 4 percent of domestic sav-

ings has been seen towards the Indian capital market during one year itself. Both direct investment in equity and mutual funds have emerged as a major option. It would also be appropriate to mention here that in the last financial year, the option of investing in a large number of IPOs was also available for investment in the capital market, through which companies raised a large amount of capital from the Indian society.
LIC’s IPO was the most talked about. Among new-age startups, the IPOs of Paytm and Zomato also created a lot of buzz. Perhaps this was the main reason that even when there was a period of economic recession dur-
ing the Corona epidemic, the Indian capital market continued to grow because a large number of new investors joined the Indian capital market during that period. However, during that point of time the first priority of global investors was India rather than China. It has also been seen that the tendency of Indians to invest in pension and provident fund has also increased a lot. However, the withdrawal of the old pension scheme is a political issue, due to which there may be a change in the attitude of the investors under the new pension scheme in the upcoming time.

Adani Ports and SEZ sells Myanmar Port for $30 million
New Delhi (PTI): Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) on Thursday said it has concluded the Myanmar Port sale for a total consideration of USD 30 million.
In May 2022, APSEZ had announced signing of a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the sale of its Myanmar Port. The SPA had certain Condition Precedents (CPs), including completion of the project and relevant approv-

According to the statement, the buyer will pay the said amount
to the seller within 3 business days on completing all the necessary compliance by the seller.
On receipt of the total transaction value, APSEZ shall transfer the equity to the buyer

In August, 2021, APSEZ had said its investment in a port in Myanmar was not in violation of any sanction guidelines issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of Treasury. APSEZ, the largest port developer in India, is part of the globally diversified Adani Group.

New Delhi : An important brief political meeting occurred in Punjab on Thursday, when prayer meet was conducted in Punjab for Parkash Singh Badal, who had passed away recently. Home Minister Amit Shah arrived to console the Badal family and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union Min-
ister Gajendra Singh
Shekhawat also reached to attend the prayer meet and offer condolences to the family.
Meanwhile, Sachin Pilot also reached to console the bereaved family and during this Pilot greeted Amit Shah with a ‘Hello’ at Badal residence.
Now political observers are curious about this brief meeting
thinking if it was just a coincidence or was there already some ‘understanding’?
Recently, Shekhawat had invited Pilot to join BJP. So can Pilot really leave the Congress and join the BJP?
However, it does not seem so from the present indications of Rajasthan Congress. But no one knows what the future holds.

WARRIOR OF THE LIGHT
To be heroic is to be courageous enough to die for something; to be inspirational is to be crazy enough to live a little.
One such beauty who has been making waves with her journey is the exquisite Kanggana Malik.
When asked about her inspiration for entering the beauty pageant industry, the beauty explained, “My biggest inspiration has always been my parents. Their unrelenting encouragement and unwavering stimulus to persist through the most arduous of times have been the bedrock that propelled me towards entering the industry a mere two years ago. In a fleeting span of time, I have garnered an abundance of knowledge regarding the intricacies of this craft. I have come to realize that as much as the industry may exude a veneer of grandeur, the path to triumph is paved with unflagging ardour and a prodigious work ethic.”
As we delved deeper into the qualities necessary for a successful beauty pageant contestant, the gorgeous diva emphasized the importance of being “self-confidence” and “unstoppable.” She shared, “As a crowned beauty queen, the paramount attribute that one must possess is an unshakable belief in oneself, as well as one’s convictions and principles. This quality serves as the cornerstone to triumph in any sphere of life, notwithstanding the myriad of obstacles that one may encounter along the way to fulfilling their aspirations in the realm of pageantry.”
Maintaining a healthy mindset and self-esteem is crucial for any pageant contestant, and the ravishing diva shared that she balances the physical demands of pageant preparation, such as diet and exercise, with a positive mindset. She believes that Miss Teen Diva, as an organisation helped her become a better person. She emphasized, “It has taught me important skills and values of not giving up even if you don’t win. I would continue to imbibe that spirit and work on my advocacy of ending child sexual abuse in India through supporting and working with Parwarish Cares Foundation, an NGO that prevents children from becoming victims of child sexual abuse.” The diva expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Nikhil Anand and Jagdeesh Chandra for supporting her in her journey.
When asked about her goals in the industry and how she plans to use her platform to make a positive impact on society, the
gorgeous lady shared, “Beauty pageants serve as a platform for individuals to present themselves in the most captivating manner possible. The judges are not seeking to crown a perfect specimen, but rather, one who possesses an unwavering sense of purpose, coupled with a healthy dose of self-assurance in their physique and appearance. As a student pursuing fashion communication, I aspire to emulate this very same spirit in the realm of fashion.’”
Criticism is an inescapable part of life, and Malik shared that she handles it with resilience and confidence. She said, “The best way to take criticism is to think of it as someone trying to make you a better person. A positive attitude towards yourself will help you overcome the negative thoughts in people’s comments. This positive attitude and mindset towards life will help you achieve greater success in life. One mere failure cannot dictate your life forever.”
With her warrior spirit and dedication, Kanggana is a force to be reckoned with in the beau-

Beauty products get noticed by their attractive packaging or soothing scent. Most of the containers have brilliant green images on the glossy paper wrapping to give a sense of the " natural" origin of the content. Don't let such marketing strategies impact your buying choice and pay exorbitant prices for the product which might not suit you. Commercial natural beauty products are not always better for everyone and many people do encounter side effects.
One point to be noted is that the so-called natural product

No one knows about all these categories authentically and their definition, in the commercial domain, is vague. The product might be unscented but even then some chemicals may be added to suppress any odour and there are some chemical preservatives and surfactants to make a cream or lotion. Thus, the idea of an absolutely chemical-free beauty product is hard to digest.
The concept of hypo allergy is vague as allergy is an individualized phenomenon. One who is sensitive always gets the rash while the rest pay a premium price in the name of a hypo allergy product. Similar is the story regarding non-toxic skin products. A product which is non-toxic to many is toxic for some. Furthermore, a truly organic product should be derived from plant sources where no fertilizer, pesticide or herbicide is used. Is this possible, especially in a country like India? The purpose of this article is not to convey that natural beauty product or even chemical-based products are all worthless but it is to emphasise that nothing is hundred per cent safe. Hence, there is no need to pay exorbitant premiums for these products. The better choice would be to select products with a single or two ingredients or maybe even homemade products. Philosophically, the best beauty products are two compassionate eyes and smiling lips. The choice is yours.

ylie, 25, wore a red Jean Paul Gaultier gown with a thigh slit and a pale blue contrast at the Met Gala on Monday night. Her hair was pulled back in an exquisite updo, and her makeup was light and beautiful. Her outfit, though, was noticeably different when she made her way to the fashion event. Kylie slayed the ramp as she made an appearance in an enormous blue robe with a crimson ac-

Kylie made a theatrical entrance, lowering her gown and transforming it from a robe to a train. Fans, on the other hand, took notice of the Hulu star’s face, which later became a subject. “She was too busy looking at that lumpy face to notice the outfit; is that what she was going for?” said one key reviewer.
