WHO WILL BECOME THE NEXT CHIEF MINISTER OF KARNATAKA?

With Karnataka assembly elections still more than a month away, several opinion polls in the state have raised hopes of the Congress. Perhaps this is the reason why the tussle between the two contenders for the post of CM from the Congress, ie former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Committee chief DK Shivakumar is clearly visible. Recently, Siddaramaiah openly told his mind to a news channel and said, “Anybody has the right to dream of becoming the Chief Minister. I also dream of becoming the CM. If you want to become CM, then what is wrong in it. But the Chief Minister will be the one whom the MLAs will choose.” But the channel ran the news that ‘the CM of Karnataka will be the one whom the high command will want.’ Siddaramaiah was incensed and demanded an apology from the channel. The BJP is keeping an eye on this whole scenario and the saffron party is hopeful that it will get the benefit of the mutual fight between the two Congress heavyweights. Anyway, BJP has increased the reserved quota for Vokkaligas from 4 to 6 percent and for Lingayats from 5 to 7 percent under OBC reservation. Playing a big election bet, BJP feels that this is their ‘master stroke’ and has the potential to turn the tide in this election.

While the tussle between DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah is heating up in Karnataka, Pandit Raj Kumar Sharma, a renowned astrologer from Mumbai, who has made many accurate political predictions in the past, has compared the horoscopes of both the contenders and said, “Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah was born on 3 August 1947. His zodiac sign is Aquarius, Nakshatra Ghanishtha, Lagna Scorpio. His mahadasha of Ketu is going on since 2020. Ketu is sitting in the sign of Mars of Siddaramaiah, this yog makes him an adept politician, but because of this yog, his chair was snatched last time. The Ketu Mahadasha is to last till 2027. Because of this, a duality is being created in his horoscope, it may be that he will have to struggle a lot to get the CM’s chair. On the other hand, DK Shivakumar, who was born on May 15, 1961, has Taurus zodiac sign and Kritika Nakshatra, Shani Mahadasha is going on in his horoscope since 2015. That is why till now, he has been playing the role of kingmaker from behind the scenes. Because of this he also had to go to jail.
