Vyas University began on Thursday at the New Campus. Governor Kalraj Mishra, the chief guest of the programme, awarded gold medals to 75 students -41 girls and 34 boys. The Governor said that convocation is not the end of education but the beginning. “Students will be able to make good use of the knowledge acquired for the nation and the society. Education which moulds a person and inculcates values of humanity is meaningful,” he said, while appreciating girls for getting gold medals. He also said that education frees people from their ego.
Saraf reviews theft case in Jain temple, directs cops to arrest culprits in 7 days

MLA Kali Charan Saraf on Thursday reached Shri Chandraprabhu Jain Temple located in Sector 10 and sought information about the theft incident that took place in temple premises on Wednesday night.
MLA Saraf called the Jawahar Circle Police Station SHO and directed him to arrest the thieves within 7 days & recover stolen valuables. Former Chairperson of Rajasthan Wom- en Commission Suman Sharma, Deputy Mayor Puneet, among many were present.

Jaipur: In Kanhaiyalal murder case in Udaipur, the NIA court has taken cognizance of all the 11 accused in the challan. They have been accused of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and Arms Act.
