Jaipur: Months before assembly elections in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given another reason to the state employees to cheer by relaxing norms of experience for promotion. The department of personnel has issued an order for giving relaxation of two years in promotion. The government has taken this decision in the interest of the employees. Relaxation has been given in promotion for the vacancy year of 2023-24. It is notable that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been saying that the employees will not face any problem in promotion. Recently, Gehlot had instructed all the departments to expedite the work related to promotion. Before this, Gehlot gave another gift to the state employees in March under which promotion will not be stopped even if there is a third child.

Truck driver hits RTO jeep, guard killed, one critical

Jaipur: A truck driver created a ruckus in Jaipur on late Sunday night. The RTO jeep was hit on Jaipur-Delhi highway in Chandwaji area. The jeep was dragged for about halfa-kilometre killing a guard. Four other jawans sitting in jeep were injured. All have been admitted to NIMS Hospital. The condition of Inspector Ravi Dutt is critical.

CM Gehlot has also approved the proposal to upgrade Ayurveda dispensary of Bharatpur’s Nadbai and Dausa’s Lavan to Block Ayush Hospital. Gehlot has also given approval for the creation of 41 new posts in these hospitals. For Ayush Research Center at Kekri, CM gave approval for construction of a building at a cost of eight crore rupees. LEPROSY-FREE SPECIALLY ABLED TO GET PENSION OF `2.5K

The state govt has increased the pension amount for leprosy-free specially abled people. Now they will get a pension of Rs 2500 per month. CM Gehlot has approved the financial proposal in this regard.

It is worth mentioning that at present there are 16,810 leprosy free social security pensioners in the state, who are being given a pension amount of Rs 1500 per month, which has now been increased to Rs 2500 per month.

Trials for Para Sports Academy from May 23

Jaipur: For the first time in the state, a government sports academy will also be started for physically challenged players. Selection trials for admission to Para Academy in 4 sports will be held in Jaipur from May 23. With this, Rajasthan will become the first state in the country to start Para Academy.

13.26 CRORE FOR DRINKING WATER IN JPR'S SHYAM NAGAR

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of Rs 13.26 crore for supply of clean drinking water for Shyam Nagar in Jaipur. Under this scheme, drinking water will be made available from Bisalpur project to Shyam Nagar. The Urban Water Supply Scheme of Shyam Nagar (City Division-II South), Jaipur will be restructured by the PHED. Notably announcement in this regard was made by the CM in the budget speech.

Barmer : Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria during his visit to Balotra on Monday offered prayers at the famous Jain pilgrimage Nakoda Dham at Nakoda in Balotra.
