Leaders to face music for using ableist slurs

Jaipur: Now the political leaders in Rajasthan will have to think before using words like ‘Luli-Langdi’, ‘Gungi-Bahri’ and ‘Andhi Sarkar’ in their speeches in rallies and meetings. They will not be able to use three-four words even by mistake because if this is done then strict action will be taken against that leader. Even the police will be able to register an FIR against such speakers.
Rajasthan Specially abled Commissioner Court has given instructions to take action in such cases considering the use of these words as derogatory for the spe - cially abled.
A complaint had come to the State Specially abled Commissioner’s Court that former MLA Bhera Ram Siyol had used words that hurt the specially abled in the rally.
