Star Air launches direct flight from Jaipur to Belagavi

Jaipur: Star Air, the eighth airline among the domestic airlines, has started flight operations from the Jaipur Airport. Its flight started from Jaipur to Belagavi from Monday. The flight will operate three days a week. A cake cutting ceremony was held at the Jaipur airport.

Charan Singh and others cut the cake together. The airline presented goodies bags to all the 50 passengers on the first day, which contained food items. There is a 50-seater aircraft. Airport sources said that in the coming days, direct flights will start from Jaipur to Nagpur, Patna and Ranchi. Along with this, flights can also start for Kuala Lumpur by September.

3 kids die due to suspected food poisoning in three days in Nagaur
Nagaur (PTI): Three children died due to suspected food poisoning in Nagaur in the past three days, official said on Monday.
They lived in the same colony on Merta Road.
Chief Medical and Health Officer of Nagaur Dr Mahesh Sharma said three-and-a-halfyear-old Laxmi felt stomach pain on Monday and died at her residence.
Rooparam died in Ajmer’s JLN hospital on Saturday night while Sarita (13) died on the way to a hospital in Jodhpur on Sunday, he said.
“The exact cause of the death will be known after the postmortem report. Their houses are located nearby and they had gone to a marriage function four-five days back. Also, they used to have candies from a roadside vendor. Food samples from their houses have been collected,” he said.

Minister Rajendra Singh Gudha said that the Rajasthan Government has broken all records of corruption. “Our Government has also gone ahead of the 40 per cent commission Karnataka Govt. Now the high command should think,” he said. MLA Mukesh Bhakar and Ramniwas Gawriya said that the govt did nothing on corruption and only Pilot and his supporting MLAs are being targeted. “People of Rajiv Gandhi Study Circle had a role in the paper leak, the public is asking now,” Bhakar said.
`18K cr earned by Mines Dept in 3 yrs

Jaipur: Senior IAS officer Dr Subodh Agarwal played a memorable innings in the Mines and Petroleum Department. Due to his efforts, the department collected revenue of about Rs 18,000 crore in three financial years.
CM had given the important responsibility of the department to Agarwal on July 2, 2020. In today’s transfer list, Veenu Gupta has been given the responsibility of Mines and Petroleum.
Dr.Agarwal changed the image and working style of the department. Most successful auctions of major mineral blocks were held during Agarwal’s tenure.
Pro-Pilot MLA Solanki booked for cheating
First India Bureau Jaipur: Congress MLA Ved Prakash Solanki, a supporter of Sachin Pilot, has been booked for cheating after a woman alleged that she was duped of her land, police said on Monday.
Bajaj Nagar SHO Devendra Kumar said Kaushalya Devi, a resident of Khatipura here, complained that her land was transferred in the Chaksu MLA’s name but he did not pay her.
According to the complaint, the matter dates back to July 2013 when Devi, who was looking to sell her land in Bhurtia Kala vil -
PUBLIC HEARING AT CMR lage here, was duped by middlemen who registered the land in the name of Solanki, Kumar said. Devi is yet to receive the money for the land purchase deal, the complaint added.
Based on the woman’s complaint, an FIR was lodged on Saturday against Solanki under sections 420 (cheating), 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 120 (B) (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code, Kumar said. The case file has been sent to CID Crime Branch for further probe, he said.
