First India Bureau Jaipur: After ‘Nathi ka Bada’ fiasco in the political sphere of Rajasthan, discussion has started on ‘Mantriji ki Kothi’.

The Twitter war has also started between two veteran leaders of Rajasthan on the minister’s residence. These stalwarts are Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasra and Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore. While Dotasara attacked Rathore regarding ‘Mantriji ki Kothi’, he immediately retaliated from Nathi Ka Bada.

Dotasra ji, this matter is not in my cognisance. I condemn this incident. I myself am taking information about the matter.

Churu is not ‘Nathi ka Bara’. It has been Churu’s tradition to respect policemen.

This whole controversy started with a viral video on social media. In this video from Churu, a traffic policeman is crying and saying that he was standing at a point. When he asked a car driver to remove the vehicle, the youth start- ed abusing him. The young man threatened him to come to the minister’s residence and get him transferred. Due to which the troubled traffic policeman burst into tears on the spot, whose video went viral on social media.

After the video went viral, Dotasra surrounded Rathore and tweeted, “Mr Rajendra Rathore, will you win the election by threatening the people of Churu and the policemen? What message do you want to give by torturing the guardians of the law?”

Jaipur: DGP Umesh Mishra launched the Rajasthan Police Hackathon Portal on Tuesday at the Rajasthan Police Academy Auditorium as part of the Rajasthan Police Day Ceremony. On this occasion, a seminar was also organised on the topic of cyber crime disposal through police community outreach.

Addressing the seminar, the DGP said that information technology is being used in every sphere of life and in the present cyber era, digital awareness is very important in view of the dangers of cybercrime. The DGP said that the police personnel in whose hands there is usually lathi, it is necessary to basic knowledge about digital aspects as in the present times it is very difficult to solve crimes without digital knowledge.

ACB arrests Ajmer depot manager with `7,000 bribe

ACB says accused demanded `3,000 per month bribe in lieu of issuing bill for the goods of the liquor shop

Ajmer: The ACB on Tuesday arrested redhanded Deepak Khatri, Depot Manager, Rajasthan State Beverages Corporation, Ajmer while taking a bribe of Rs 7,000 from the complainant.

Hemant Priyadarshy said that the ACB Ajmer unit had received a complaint that the accused was seeking Rs 3,000 per month bribe in lieu of issuing the bill for the goods of the liquor shop allotted by the Excise Department. The accused was seeking Rs 9,000 for the last three months.

The complaint was verified by DIG Sameer Kumar Singh and ASP Atul Sahu and the accused was nabbed in a trap by a team led by Police Inspector Naresh Chauhan.

During the verification of the complaint, the accused had taken Rs 2,000 from the complainant.

CHITTORGARH CLERK IN ACB NET FOR `50K BRIBE

Pratapgarh: The Chittorgarh team of the ACB arrested clerk Bhagirath of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies while taking a bribe of Rs 50,000. He was also trapped by ACB in 2002 also, in which he was sentenced for 2 years. After getting relief from the High Court, he was again employed. ASP

Kailash Singh Sandhu said that Pratapgarh resident Girjashankar Sharma had complained to the ACB that Bhagirath was not updating the management committee of the Brahmin Sabha and demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000.

Man flees after

hitting police vehicle, injuring three cops

Jaipur: A miscreant driving a car on the wrong side hit a police vehicle (Chetak) head on in Jaipur on Monday injuring three policemen. The miscreant, driving on the wrong side from Nirman Nagar Road, hit the Chetak several times and fled. Bhankrota police station team chased him, but he managed to flee.

Police said that head constable Sohanlal, constable driver Sandeep Kumar and constable Ajay Singh were fatally attacked.

Sohanlal and Ajay Singh tried to stop the car coming from the wrong direction but the miscreant hit the Chetak threefour times.
