Rahman, Mouni Roy, singer Armaan Malik and Boney Kapoor posed with Tim Cook and shared a moment of celebration of the Apple iPhone store’s maiden store in the country and also congratulated the CEO.

Videos of the Apple CEO throwing open the store also went viral on social media. While Indian employees of the Apple iPhone store shouted the countdown, to make the moment more memorable CEO himself opened the door and welcome the first customer into the outlet.

Bollywood celebrities also shared the ‘memorable’ meeting with Tim Cook on their Instagram profile. Neha Dhupia got a selfie clicked with Tim Cook & captioned it, “What a store and what a story.”

Mouni Roy too shared a couple of photographs, sharing moments of her first visit to the Apple store. The photo frame has her husband standing beside Cook. The Apple CEO also enjoyed Mumbai’s famous vada pav, along with yesteryear actress Madhuri Dixit. Tim Cook expressed his gratitude towards Madhuri Dixit for introducing him to Mumbai's famous snack, Vada Pav. He took to Twitter and wrote, "Thanks @madhuri- dixit for introducing me to my very first Vada Pav - it was delicious!”

Raveena Tandon also shared a string of pictures from the event on her social media account, captioning them, “A night out at @apple .. #timcook.”

While singer Armaan Malik took to his Instagram account to share a picture with Tim Cook and captioned it, “Got to meet the amazing Tim Cook at the launch of India’s firstever Apple Store in Mumbai, BKC! Big love to the folks at Apple for hosting such a beautiful evening."

The opening of the first Apple store in India marks a significant milestone for the tech giant in one of the world’s largest smartphone markets. With the new store, Apple aims to strengthen its position in India.
