Jaipur : The state government is serious about the conservation and promotion of the geo heritage sites of the state to boost geo tourism. Additional Chief Secretary Mines, Petroleum and PHED Subodh Agarwal said that keeping in view the archaeological importance of Geo Heritage sites of the state, an action plan will be prepared for their maintenance and protection.
Dr Agarwal gave this information dur- ing his visit to the nephelin syenite of Kishangarh and the Sendra granite sites associated with Beawar-Pali along with the officials. The sites are Geo Heritage sites.
The Kishangarh nepheline syenite was formed by tectonic activity between 1590 and 1890 million years ago. It is an alkaline intrusive igneous pluton in the Aravalli Craton. Sendra granite is made of tectonic activity that happened 900 million years ago. Special shapes found in it are pot holes, skeleton fair with the girl. Later, the minister also offered prayers at Shri Karni Mata Temple. The minister assured that the name of this road will not be changed.
“The construction of this road will be done by the PWD under the budget announcement of the state govt. The municipal board passed the proposal due to human error,” said Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati. Meanwhile, the former minister Devi Singh Bhati threatened the govt and said that if the name of the road is changed, he will set things on fire.

First India Bureau Udaipur: The Udaipur police on Saturday late night arrested the prime accused in the killing of Bajrang Dal activist Rajendra alias Raju Parmar. Police informed the accused has been identified as Pritam alias Bunty and was arrested from Kewade Ki Nal.
“Rajendra was killed owing to a property dispute with one Dilip Nath, who is lodged in Udaipur Central jail.
