Baran: CM Ashok Gehlot while addressing the all-religion free mass marriage ceremony of Shri Mahavir Gaushala Kalyan Sansthan, said that organising mass marriages gives strength to newlyweds and also strengthens the feeling of social harmony. “This is the basic identity of our country. Mass marriage of 2222 couples of all religions is a historic event in Baran.” He said that along with teachings of our great men, truth, non-violence and unity in diversity are also basic sentiments of the Constitution.

The CM said that marriage of 2,222 couples of all religions were solemnised according to law in the mass marriage ceremony. These included 2,111 Hindu and 111 Muslim couples. With the help of Bhamashahs, the l CM also distributes ‘CM Guarantee Card’ during the Mehangai Rahat Camp & interacts with beneficiaries about State govt’s public welfare schemes

Mass Marriage ceremonies provide strength to newly-wed couples, enhance the feeling of social harmony, which basically identify our nation.

The mass marriage ceremony of 2,222 couples in Baran is a historic event, which exemplifies humanity by uniting couples of various sections of the society under this event.

Jaipur: Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), an ally of BJP in Haryana, will now contest elections in Rajasthan as an ally of BJP. JJP National President Ajay Singh Chautala announced this on Friday in Jaipur. Chautala had come to Jaipur for the party expansion.

He said that talks are going on at the national level with BJP National President JP Nadda.

“We will contest on those seats in Rajasthan where BJP is weak. BJP is weak in 20 to 25 seats in Rajasthan. Out of these seats where JJP is strong, we will contest.

Shekhawat during his visit to Dungarpur on Friday, targeted the Congress government of the state in the matter of attack on Sanatan culture.

He said that the government here is doing the policy of appeasement.

The way attempts were made to destroy the Hindu sentiments and Sanatan culture during the Mughal period, similar efforts are being made in the state under the patronage of the government.

Shekhawat participated in the Bhairav Bhakta Mahotsav and Pratibha Samman ceremony of Rebari Samaj and also visited Raghunath temple along with Alwar MP Balaknath, Banswara MP Kanaka- mal Katara. Shekhawat then reached ‘Bhairav Bhakt Mahotsav’ and ‘Pratibha Samman’ ceremony of Rebari Samaj in Bhiluda. The minister honoured the talents of Rebari community.

Famous Saint Kamalkishore Nagar of Malav Mati’s Vyas seat even gave the title of ‘Rajrishi’ to CM Gehlot. Meanwhile, Gehlot was also elated by saints’ blessings & said, “This is encouragement for works of our government.”

Justice Augustine George Masih is new CJ of Raj HC

Jaipur: Augustine George Masih will be the new Chief Justice of Rajasthan HC. The Central Government on Friday, notified the appointment of Justice Augustine George Masih as the CJ of the Rajasthan High Court.

The government approved the recommendation of S C Collegium following which, appointment warrant was issued from President’s office. Born on March 12, 1963 at Ropar in Punjab, Masih took initial schooling in St.Mary’s

Convent School, Kasauli (H.P.) and completed school education from Saifuddin Tahir High School, Aligarh. He graduated in Science (Hons.) & then did LL.B. (Hons.) from AMU at Aligarh. He enrolled as an Advocate on rolls of Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana Bar Council on June 06, 1987. He practiced on both Original & Appellate sides.

Masih was sworn in as Additional Judge of Punjab & Haryana HC on July 10, 2008 & as a Permanent Judge on Jan 14, 2011.
