`50 crore for grassland and wetland development

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial provision of Rs 50 crore for various works of grassland and wetland development in the state.

Out of the above sanctioned amount, provision of Rs 40 crore for pasture development and plantation works in 7,800 hectare area in 22 forest divisions of the State, Rs. 9 crore for development and management of Sambhar Lake and Rs 1 crore for Kota (Kanvaas range) has been made. This amount will be made available from the Environment Management Fund.

It is noteworthy that the announcement in this regard was made by the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the budget for the year 2023-24.

`2.31 CRORE FOR VARIOUS WORKS UNDER VALMIKI FUND

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial provision of Rs 22.31 crore for various works under the Valmiki Fund. With this amount construction, modernisation and development of facilities and construction of new Swachhkar hostel buildings in Barmer, Jodhpur and Jaipur will be possible. Along with this, various works including pre-matric and post-matric scholarship to the children of persons engaged in cleaning profession, loan grant to persons engaged in cleaning profession, jacket uniforms to cleaning staff, training and excursion will be done with the said amount. It is worth mentioning that with this approval of the Chief Minister, the students living in the hostels will get help in their studies and the people engaged in cleaning profession will get support.

CANAL DISTRIBUTARIES WILL BE FORTIFIED IN JAISALMER, BIKANER PERMANENT LOK ADALAT JAIPUR METROPOLITAN-II TO BE FORMED

Jaipur: Improvement works will be done in main canal of Sagarmal Gopa branch in Jaisalmer and Vaidya Magharam distributaries of Kanwarsain lift system in Bikaner which will cost Rs 75 crore. CM Gehlot has given financial approval to fortify canal system & distributaries. Renovation work will be done at Vaidya Magharam dis tributorship of Bikaner’s Kan warsain lift system at Rs 25 cr & works at a cost of Rs 50 crore in main canal structures of Sagarmal Gopa branch in Jaisalmer. Farmers will be benefited by canal distributar ies of surrounding areas including Mohangarh and Ramgarh.

Jaipur: CM Gehlot has approved proposal to form Permanent Lok Adalat Jaipur Metropolitan-II. Along with this, the proposal to rename Permanent Lok Adalat Jaipur Mahanagar as Permanent Lok Adalat, Jaipur Mahanagar-I has also been approved.Retd District Judge level officer will be appointed as full time President in new Permanent Lok Adalat Jaipur Mahanagar II. The CM has also approved creation of 7 new posts for functioning of the said court. These posts include one each for Stenographer & Reader, 3 for Jr Asst & 2 for Class IV employee. With this decision, there will be ease in disposal of pending cases related to daily public utility services.
