Started in 1953, the class remains committed to its initial goal: to join intelligent minds and strong faith. Its sessions, both lecture and free discussion, have centered on historical settings at different stages of church development, evolution of creeds, history of religious freedom in this country, church in society that is open to all religions, and many more. In short, as one member has described the class, one does not check one’s mind at the door when one enters the class.
