Plenty of pan size snapper, grass sweetlip and big bream are being caught around the shallow reef edges. Small plastics or small hardbodies have been doing all the damage. Larger top water lures have been accounting for fish as well. Top water fishing the reef edges is so much fun as you will see a lot of the fish bow wave your lure before hitting it. Early mornings on dawn or late afternoons will see the most action. The threadfin salmon are starting to show their faces throughout the Brisbane River over the last month.
