CREATINE Creatine is a derivative from three amino acids (arginine, glycine and methionine) and is stored in skeletal muscle (approximately 95%). Creatine monohydrate is the most extensively studied and clinically effective ergogenic aid used in nutritional supplements in terms of muscle uptake and ability to increase high-intensity exercise capacity. Creatine supplementation provides support for high intensity repeated bout exercises by a rapid replenishment of the immediate energy source, Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) (Buford et al., 2007). Essentially, supplementation has been shown to allow exercisers to increase work output, whether that be high intensity repeated sprints or repetitions of a heavy weight.

An effective creatine & glutamine formula designed for packing on muscle size, strength and power fast Creatamax Extreme is an advanced creatine and glutamine formula with added supporting ingredients including fenugreek, black pepper extract, D-pinitol & glycine. This product has been specifically designed to help those individuals who wish to improve their explosive performance or exercisers who want to delay fatigue during short duration, high-intensity exercise such as sprinting or weight lifting. Individuals that engage in longer events, particularly with a stop/start nature such as football & rugby, will have an increased ability to sustain bursts of short duration activity over longer periods of time. Creatamax Extreme comes in two great powder based flavours, orange and raspberry.

Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and has recently become regarded as conditionally essential rather than a non-essential amino acid (Newsholme et al., 2011). It is commonly found in high protein foods such as meats and fish, and is used in the body for cell growth and fuelling the immune system. During periods of heavy training, glutamine levels decline in the body which can suppress the immune system and increases the risk of infection (Castell et al, 1996).

FENUGREEK Fenugreek is an annual plant, classed within the legume, pea and bean family. It grows in most countries around the world with major production in Asia, Europe and United States.

Fenugreek is added to Creatamax Extreme due to its effect on increasing insulin sensitivity and reducing blood sugar levels (Deng, 2012).

GLYCINE Glycine is a non essential amino acid added to the formula to force the creatine and carbohydrate into the muscles more efficiently (Gannon et al 2002). This reduces the need for larger amounts of carbohydrate saving you from consuming unnecessary calories so you consuming unnecessary calories.

A typical diet contains approximately 2 grams of glycine daily.

Protein rich foods all contain glycine, with meats being the primary source.

DEXTROSE Creatine Extreme contains dextrose, a simple monosaccharide carbohydrate. Which is rapidly absorbed into the blood stream.

This causes a rise in blood sugar levels which in turn causes an insulin response, which aids in the transportation of creatine in to muscle for quicker and more effective result than taking creatine alone.

D-PINITOL Pinitol creates insulin like effect, enhancing creatine uptake into the muscle without the need for excess simple carbohydrates to create a larger insulin spike (Bates, Jones & Bailet, 2000).

Black Pepper Extract Black pepper extract is obtained from the fruits of the black pepper and/or long pepper plant. When used in conjunction with other nutrients, like creatine it can increase muscle absorption.

RECOMMENDED USE Loading Mix 1 scoop (33g) with 200ml of water and stir well, 4 times a day for the first 5 days. Thereafter take a maintenance dose.

Maintenance After the loading phase, take 1 scoop (33g) in the morning and a second scoop after training or in the afternoon.
