Current projects include Job Leader for ÂŁ45m secondary school on site in London and technical design for a sports stadium. Previous projects include the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology, the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium, the Olympic Stadium Transformation and the Etihad Stadium expansion. Medical Device consultant, TTP ltd
raser (Engineering 2015) has worked in two very different fields since graduating in June 2019. Firstly, he spent a year as an Engineering Graduate at McLaren Automotive, working on cars redefining the supercar market. He primarily worked in Vehicle Development, supporting and enabling legislative, performance and benchmarking testing of pre-production prototypes, before moving on to developing steering system components for future and current production vehicles. In 2020, after a stint as a design engineer at The Little Car Company, Fraser joined TTP ltd (The Technology Partnership) in August as a Medical Device Consultant, delivering on projects across the medical device spectrum, in all phases of development. aniel (Engineering 2015) is a control systems engineer for Reaction Engines, appointed on a direct entry placement. Reaction Engines is developing a hybrid jet engine/rocket engine called SABRE, to be used on future spaceplanes, the most well known about being Skylon. ick (Politics, Psychology & Sociology, 2009) has a background in child protection and non-formal education in humanitarian emergencies. He is currently based in Myanmar as the Child Protection Manager in the Rakhine State for the Danish Refugee Council. He has a MSc in International Migration and Public Policy from the LSE, and is particularly interested in the protection of children on the move. He is undertaking a distance learning course in Counselling and Psychotherapy to further develop his skill set in supporting children who have faced trauma. His professional areas of interest include: refugee protection and child safeguarding, child migration, statelessness, protection of unaccompanied children, early and forced marriage and EU Asylum Policy. nicholaspmillet@gmail.com

laine graduated from Fitz in 2018 after studying Natural Sciences (Genetics), alongside running Show Choir, dancing with CUTAZZ and performing at the ADC. Following a microbiology placement at GlaxoSmithKline, she is working as a Scientist at Charles River – a CRO (Contract Research Organisation) specialising in early-stage drug discovery. As a biologist she designs and runs assays to screen the effect of drug molecules on in vitro targets. She is also involved with developing outreach activities for the STEM Ambassador Programme. ave graduated from Fitz with an MPhil Economics degree in 2016, after which he started a career in international and development economics. Upon leaving Fitz, Dave worked on the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellowship Scheme, working as an embedded economist in the Economic Development Board of Madagascar. He then joined the UK Civil Service as an economist at the Department for Exiting the European Union. His current role is at Department for International Trade, as the Economic Adviser for DIT’s first official development assistance programme, supporting six countries to attract foreign direct investment (FDI). david.baker@trade.gov.uk

race (2011-15) studied Political Sciences & Management at Fitzwilliam before studying Japanese for one year in Fukuoka on the College’s Tsuzuki Scholarship. She is now in her third year of the Civil Service Fast Stream (Generalist), which aims to develop future civil service leaders by granting exposure to several government departments and roles. Since October 2020, Grace has been a Senior Policy Advisor for the regulation of medical devices at the Department of Health and Social Care’s MHRA agency. She previously held a policy role the Department of the Environment, focusing on EU Agri-food regulations and then worked at the Ministry of Justice working for the London courts. saam works as an Economist at Vivid in the Finance Practice. Isaam’s work involves quantifying the potential impacts of climate change and climate policy on financial markets. Isaam specialises in fixed income assets (sovereign and corporate bonds). Prior to joining Vivid Economics, Isaam worked as a Senior analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Market Risk Department, where he helped quantify the firm’s risk to key market events. She focuses on the big data analysis, database design, statistical modelling, and all the technology-driven projects. She is a co-author of several Fintech benchmarking industry reports and cooperated with the Financial Conduct Authority to profoundly analyse the UK online lending market. She holds a PhD in Engineering (University of Cambridge, graduating in 2017), and a BEng Honours first-class degree from the University of Nottingham. live completed his first degree in Physics in 2001, then stayed at Fitz for a PhD studying the behaviour of materials under high speed deformation, also in the Physics department. In 2005, he took up a Career Development Fellowship in Engineering at the University of Oxford. He was appointed to a University Lectureship in 2008, alongside a Fellowship at Pembroke College, Oxford, and was made a full Professor in 2018. Clive continues to research the properties of materials under dynamic loading, working with a number of external organisations including Rolls-Royce. He is a tenant at 9 Gough Square, London. His specialisms are personal injury and clinical negligence but he also has a commercial and costs practice. He acts mostly for claimants. Gurion has experience of the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. He has also appeared in various Tribunals including the Criminal Injuries and Leasehold Valuation Tribunals. regory is a Cyber Security Consultant working for QinetiQ, a global defence and security technology company, whose head office is based in Farnborough, UK. He provides information security advice to clients in both the public and private sectors, but currently specialises in working for customers with high-assurance requirements, namely those working in national security. Prior to joining QinetiQ, Gregory worked for 16 years for the UK Government in a range of roles. This included completing three overseas postings. He began his career on the Civil Service Science and Engineering Fast Stream in 2001, after completing a degree in Natural Sciences and Biochemistry at Fitz. For the last two years he has worked with data at start-ups and large companies, using relational databases (SQL), Python and statistical/machine learning techniques. eter Rutzler is a football reporter covering Fulham for The Athletic. Previously, he worked as sports journalist for MailOnline, the Scottish Daily Mail, the Independent and the i newspaper. The Athletic recruited many big names from UK football journalism - Daniel Taylor from The Guardian, David Ornstein from the BBC, Oliver Kay from The Times, to name three - as it began its subscription-based model of in-depth, advert free coverage in August 2019. former science journalist and TV documentary producer, Judith (Natural Sciences 1979) was elected as MEP for the South East of England in May 2019, serving until January 2020. Judith attended Peterborough County Grammar School for Girls and matriculated in the first co-educational year at Fitzwilliam. In her first year, she wrote for Fitzwilliam magazine on the admittance of women to an historically all-male College. She worked with the studentrun radio station and wrote for Varsity newspaper. Judith was also captain of the women’s judo team, winning two half blues.
