On February 16th, John Iglehart founding editor of Health Affairs and national correspondent for the New England Journal of Medicine, spoke to 125 luncheon guests including leading members of South Florida’s healthcare community, educators and practitioners. The event, held at Florida International University’s (FIU) College of Business Administration, was also sponsored by the Health Foundation of South Florida and FIU’s Robert Stempel School of Public Health and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Iglehart is founding editor of Health Affairs, a bimonthly policy journal that he started in 1981 under the aegis of Project HOPE, a not‐for‐profit international health education organization. Over this same period, Iglehart also has served as a national correspondent of The New England Journal of Medicine, for which he has written more than 100 essays called Health Policy Reports.
