A Journal for Happy Things

Page 1

What is this journal for? This journal is for anything you want it to be! But my suggestion is to use it to write down the positive things that have happened to you throughout the day, week or month. Included are some patterns you can colour in, to help you pause and reflect, but it’s mainly a blank slate for you to write, sketch or doodle down your thoughts and feelings.

Who is Jess? My name is Jessie and I am a 21 year old student from Dorset. My Fixer’s project is based around encouraging people to be more mindful of their surroundings and themselves. During my gap year, I worked as an au pair in various countries throughout Europe. I was lucky enough to meet lots of new people and had a great time but there was a point when anxiety and depression got on top of me. During this period I found that introducing mindful activities into my daily routine really helped me deal with these issues. I have made this booklet with Fixers, the campaign which gives young people a voice, to help anyone else who is going through a similar situation. ,
