Buddy Up! The Classroom Bonding Game

Buddy Up!

Rules 1. The TEACHER needs to split the class in 2 groups of equal size, and then proceed to hand 1 card to each pupil of group A. If there’s an odd number, the teacher joins in. 2. The TEACHER should hand 1 card to the STUDENT in group A. The STUDENT in group A must choose a partner in group B to do the activity. 3. You cannot give an instruction to someone from your usual friendship group. 4. Once you have followed the instruction, you must give your card to the person from group B. You can only receive one card per round. 5. Once the cards have all been given to group B, the STUDENT must then choose a different person from group A to do that activity with. This can be repeated for many rounds. 6. To end the game, the TEACHER will ask members of the class to share what activities they participated in.

Buddy Up! This project has been created by a group of young people from Crosskeys, who want to raise awareness of bullying. They want to encourage children to becaome friends with more of their peers, so that they can tackle bullying. This game was created with the help of Fixers, the campaign that gives young people a voice. Fixers is part-funded by the national lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.
