TASk #1 best bucharest T-shirt/Hoodie Tips and Tricks • use Adobe Illustrator • find a nice&clean plain T-Shirt/ Hoodie template with back, front and side on the web(look for T-shirt/ Hoodie vectors) • don’t use to many colors or graphics because it might cost a little too much to print it • get inspired Steps for creating a T-shirt/ Hoodie • make it simple but interesting • for the hoodie: with or without zipper • think about the style, the purpose and the target audience of the design. Brainstorm. • do a sketch • plan your design: choose the colors, theme, fonts, composition and elements and make sure you are not missing anything Ideas • find a nice font and write BEST Bucharest on the front • think of something specific that representas us(a saying or a graphic) and add it on the back


TASk #2 Business card Tips and Tricks • use Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop • make sure you include the name, phone number, email, maybe position but also the BEST website and full name of the organisation • use the BEST colors and icons • make sure it has two sides, back and front • find the right size • make it professional and corporate • be creative: use shapes, icons and a nice font or combination of fonts


TASk #3 Booklet Tips and Tricks • use Adobe Indesign • in order to have a design you need to have the covers, contents page and at least a chapter • get inspired from booklet sites • choose a format: portrait/lanscape, A4, A5 etc • spend time on the front cover. This is what will draw the readers attention • use interesting elements to lighten up the design • think about the style, the purpose and the target audience of the design. Brainstorm. Match the style of the booklet with the event type • plan your design: choose the colors, theme, fonts, composition and elements and make sure you are not missing anything • don’t forget to add the important information on the cover: name of the event, the type of booket you are creating, date of the event, logos • try different designs and mix the things you see and like on the web • make the text readable and emphasize the important passages and headlines • think about the design of the page in general, the headlines, the subtitles, the text ,the positioning of photos, the page numbering • use graphics/ infographics to present statistics • be careful with the copyright of the elements you use • KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid! • use guides to properly align elements on the page • pay attention to the size of the elements: not to big for the size of the page and not to small they can not be seen • leave as much empty space as you can so the design can “breathe“


TASk #4 Poster/ Leaflet Tips and Tricks • use Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop • get inspired • choose a format: portrait/lanscape, A6, A5, A4, A3, A2 etc and choose the folding of the leaflet • use interesting elements to lighten up the design • think about the style, the purpose and the target audience of the design. Brainstorm. Match the style of the poster/leaflet with the event type • plan your design: choose the colors, theme, fonts, composition and elements and make sure you are not missing anything • don’t forget to add the important information: name of the event, date of the event, logos • make the text readable and emphasize what matters • be careful with the copyright of the elements you use • pay attention to the size of the elements: not to big for the size of the page and not to small they can not be seen • keep the words to the minimum and use images to reinforce your words • make it impactful and persuasive and use calls to action to approach the reader
