Now, thanks to a partnership between Trebas Institute and Fleming College, Fleming’s most in-demand programs are available in the city of Toronto.

Learn the language and academic skills to succeed in college and beyond with Fleming College
Toronto English Language Bridge (FCT ELB), a direct pathway to your desired diploma or graduate certificate program at Fleming College Toronto. If you already have intermediate English skills (IELTS 3.5 equivalent and up), you can begin your journey through 6 levels of ELB.

How to Apply for FCT ELB
1. Submit an application to Fleming College Toronto (FCT).
2. Receive a customized study plan based on your English level.*
3. Submit all necessary documents.
4. Pay your fees.
5. Receive a Letter of Acceptance from FCT.
*Provide a score from a recognized English test OR complete a free English assessment from FCT.
Admission Requirements
The diploma program requires a high school diploma. Graduate certificate programs require a college diploma or university undergraduate degree in a related program.
If English is your second language, you must provide proof of language proficiency.
For Diploma and Ontario College
Certificate programs, you are expected to graduate from the FCT English Language Bridge program (ELB) level 5 or provide an IELTS Academic overall band
score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent (students applying through the SDS stream must have an overall 6.0 with no bands less than 6.0).
For Graduate certificate programs, you are required to graduate from FCT English Language Bridge program (ELB) level 6 or provide an IELTS Academic Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 or equivalent.

Student Services
With a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion, Fleming College Toronto offers a wide range of support services. Our on-campus Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIAs) hold regular information sessions and can advise on study permits, temporary resident visas, and Canadian immigration programs.
Career Services
The career services team helps students and graduates find and prepare for the workforce. Services include resume and cover letter writing help, interview practice, help with LinkedIn, job search resources, labour market information, and more.
Work in Toronto
On and off-campus jobs are a great way to earn money, build your résumé, and become familiar with Canadian business culture. Many students choose to work part-time during the academic year and full-time during breaks. Student Counseling
Fleming College Toronto’s counselors are here to help guide students through challenging academic and personal decisions. Academic counseling helps students choose a career path and provides guidance for any learning problems. This includes drop-in sessions for math and writing. Personal counselors will guide students through any stressful or difficult personal circumstances they are dealing with.
Housing and airport transfer
Be sure to reserve your airport shuttle and housing in advance.
The two main housing options for students are homestay and rental. With homestay, you can stay with a local family in your own furnished room. Depending on the arrangement and the family, this may include all or most meals, internet access, and participation in family outings and celebrations. This can be a great learning experience.
There are many other off-campus housing rental options. Some students choose to share a space together, while others choose to live alone. For both cases, the rentals are usually unfurnished.
Your living situation will have a major impact on your studies and experience in Toronto, so make sure you do as much research as possible before choosing your home.
