Besides their roses and spray roses Agrinag will start with Alstroemerias soon. For those who come to Ecuador, a visit to Agrinag is an obliged stop and a must see! Their innovative program, called “Mis Plantas”, provides every field worker with plants to nurse so they can share the profits of what they produce. As much as 4% of the additional sales will go directly to them every time they reach their harvesting goal.

It’s most likely that the hospitable “Torres family” themselves will take you on a the tour through the greenhouses, the post-harvest and the ZOO. Located very close to greenhouse you will find plenty of rescued animals like monkeys, parrots, deers and ostriches. And don’t miss out on the training of the Belgian shepherds!

By the way... If you are wondering who the pretty girls are on the lids of the boxes? They are the Torres daughters.

FLORES DE LA HACIENDA The heads of these carnations were threaded on wire and then rolled into the shape of a bouquet. The colors and fringes are a great fit to the current pastel trend. Add a bit of twotoned red to keep the overall design exciting.

The altitude and temperature (14 degrees Celcius) of their location offers Flores de la Hacienda the best climatic conditions for their products. MAGIC FLOWERS A FARM WITH A SPECIAL MESSAGE: HELP THEM PROTECT THE JUNGLE SPECIES. Every year an area of rainforest the size of New Jersey is cut down and destroyed. The plants and animals living in these areas either die, or must find a new forest to call home. Humans are the main cause of rainforest destruction. Even though deforestation occurs all around the world, tropical rainforests are particularly targeted.

If current deforestation levels continue, the world’s rainforests may completely vanish in as little as 100 years, according to National Geographic.

Tropical flowers are species that thrive naturally in this endangered area making them highly vulnerable.

Start with a base of 5 bundles of wire.

Attach the reed to the wire bundles in random order with tie-wraps.

Feathers Hot glue

Glue the feathers onto them with hot glue for a light and airy look, other materials are suitable for this too.
